Basic Addition Facts Involving Numbers 5 and 6
In the post we will discuss the basic addition facts of number 5 and 6. Yes, there will be some facts for these numbers which will seem harder for grade 3 kids but parents and teachers need to encourage kids to go for them.
For example; 6 + 7 = 13 or 7 + 6 = 13 looks hard for a 3rd grade child but if we make sure that kids know the basic facts for smaller numbers and encourage them to learn bigger factor too, they get them easily.
Also keep using examples from daily life to teach this concept to toddlers. Below are worksheets to practice the concepts;
