I'm happy to welcome you to Steemit Comment Challenge Number #24!
The prize structure will be the same as the last round, but I will increase the SBD payout from 5 SBD to 15 SBD. 1st prize will consist of 10 SBD + 1 week 200 SP delegation and the runner-up prize will be 5 SBD + a 1 week 200 SP delegation.
SPECIAL - I have managed to get some good results from the Bid Bots, hence I'm paying out an extra 10 SBD.
NEW FOR THIS ROUND - There will be no votes needed this week. The winner and the 2nd place will be selected by the judges.
The challenge now ends Friday morning and the winners will be presented Friday evening, based on UTC Time.
PLEASE NOTE - My view of bid bots has recently changed. For any long-term gains on the platform, I believe bid bots will have a negative impact. If I think about myself, I'm less likely to upvote someone's post that has big bid bot votes and I believe I'm not the only one feeling like that. I want to help people on this platform, but if they spend money on bid bots on all their posts I don't feel they are in need of my help. In addition, many people get a negative ROI, so it is basically a double loss…
For this reason, I have stopped using bid bots on all posts except for my contest/challenge posts. These are posts with the main purpose of helping others, so I will use the earnings from the bots and return it to my followers and contestants.
The partnership with the #newbieresteemday initiative will continue. I'm happy to have them by my side and I try to do my best to support their users. The Newbieresteem initiative is an excellent community for new Steemians. Their motto and this challenge are meant to strengthen interaction skills, to support and motivate better participation. And what better way to interact with others than through excellent comments.

- The definition for a Minnow from #minnowsupportproject will be used. A Minnow is someone with less than 5K SP. (I have removed the followers requirement as I don't see that as relevant.)

I agree with you when you said teenagers nowadays are exposed to explicit songs. As a parent's point of view I dont want my children listening to those songs with explicit lyrics. It may sound conservative and I am conservative. If I may choose, I will expose my children to wholesome music and art. Thank you for pointing it out. I love music and Art. Even Though I don't know much about digital art, I can see You did a great job! This is one great promotion for the group and for the kind of music they play. I also respect others opinion on this matter. After all we live in a free country.

Our children's ages now are from 1 - 6 yrs old. Tender years. Every music they listen to, movies they watch and other things they do inside our home are being monitored by us their parents. Especially by me as a full time Mom to them. As a parent, I want to expose them to activities that will make them better persons as they mature. Better citizens. Because We know time will come as they grow older, they will have their own choice of music, movies, art, clothing among others. This one thing that we can no longer control. But my husband and I strongly believe what the Holy Bible said about training up a child while they are still young. As they mature they will not depart from the things they learned in their childhood. For the time being, we will try our very best to instill in their young minds values and wholesome activities specifically music and art that will inspire them to do good things to the community they belong. 😊
Thank you for your reply. That is a great way to approach it. My kids are now above 10 and I feel it is less about control. We can be there to guide and support but they are old enough to understand that they have their own will.

Just seeing this contest for the first time and am amazed at the concept of it and here is my entry which I've already submitted to @qyugmo post.
I can relate very well with many of what you've said up there, I commend you for the bold step in making sure Philippines local music 🎶 did not go into extinction while you are yet alive, you'll be amazed at the indirect effect this single act is going to do to others too.
In Nigeria, the local music 🎶 that offers words of wisdom, sages and deep thought have died away and all we see now are artists with half naked ladies , they even sing proudly by singing the praises of yahoo yahoo boys(Internet fraudster/scammers).
Having hundrends of you in my country will go a long way.

Sir, I want to thank you for your very gracious upvote on my friend, @queen.xcx post. I wish that I were better with words so I could try to explain how much it truly means to me. This is the first time that I've seen you here. But I've only been here for a little bit myself. So far I love this place so much it drives me crazy. I have a hard time walking away from here. Everybody that I run into is so nice. And it's because of people like you that I am inspired to do the same thing for other people. I am slowly building myself up. Doing what I can with what I know. I'm trying to grow my SP as quickly as possible to raise the value of my votes. I want to be able to help people by giving them money, and also help the community by finding good content. I've been able to give away a little bit of money so far, but there will be more to come. I just have to learn to create a little better content myself. Because this is my first time ever creating content or ever doing anything social media. So I'm a little behind the times here. Yes, you are spot on about the contest. You can add the same comment to both, either copy/paste or screenshot, or modify it slightly to match each post. Many people add a short intro when they comment for the challenge, something like “This is my entry and the comment I added to @blablablaa’s post”.

I don't know the band but reading your emotion you could have aroused in me a great curiosity to listen to their lyrics, apart from the fact that I agree with you that the current lyrics don't have the same meaning as before and the children and young people waste their time listening to a lot of nonsense.
I also got to see your art for them and it's great, I love the freshness that you put to those guys and their original touch, which will certainly attract more followers, I congratulate you are doing a great job.

As a music lover i can totally relate the feeling of been able to connect with an artist through his music. Music speaks alot for me. Theres something about the way the minds of artists work that amazes me everytime i listen to a song.
Now as a graphics designer, i totally love the creativity. And your attention to a detail as tiny as the lighting (shadows and highlights) is quite impressive. Its a beautiful design. And thank you for taking me through the process ive certainly picked up a thing or 2

Thee notes of music make the brain to communiwith heart, makes the feelings with holestic command.
