8 posts with almost 0.00$: is it going bad on you too?
This is probably my 9th post with less then 0.05$
After my "Big launch" with the introduction post at 7$ and my coming out post at 70$, I've actually not made any real big posts here.
I don't know why and I also feel bad for one of them.
The article about self-harm (click here to read it) is really personal and it took me a lot of effort and passion to write it down. Many friends liked it and I'm surprised to just see nobody liked it here.
I also received some critics for the self-harming itself in the general chat.
How is it going for you?
I have just 60 followers right now, but I'm glad to have those.
And, talking to you: is it going bad for you too? Are your posts being noticed?

How can I improve?
It can't be random.
I wrote an article about don't being disappointed if one article makes 0.00$.
But 8 in a row with less then 0.05$ is a big sequence and it makes me a little nervous because, maybe, I'm not brining something people like in this community.
Steemit was part of my "salary program" (a list of websites and ideas to have a full income online), but I'm now thinking those 3 posts were lucky ones and I'm not able to provide the community with targeted contents.
So: do you have any tips for me?

Interesting post; upvoted. You should not yet be disappointed. I'm on steemit for two weeks and the most important thing for me was to write and to express my thoughts, opinion and feeling. This works.
The next step is to come to a better understanding of this system.
Further you should search some friendly supporters with a minimum of power. Use the chat to find some.

Just keep posting, follow de rules, be optimistic and hold your chin up and a good day will come to you too...
But...I see that you are on the correct path already, by having a 51 reputation and this helps belive me.
Keep posting and slowly increase your reputation and like that your post will be seen by a lot more people that trust you and they will vote 100%.
I am the same ...I mean ...we are not whale ...like from the first post to gain between 1000$ and 40.000$, BUT forget that thing, we can grow too slowly but steady.
Yeah, this post was actually a brag itself... so I think that's the bottom.

Wow.Quite a testimony.I apologize, I could not rad every word. I did relate to your story. What I did read was about your opinion on winning. May I say.. That may be many words for winning that are far better. I just think true winning involves the things you mentioned and more. There is no greater,than those who lay down their life for you. That is winning also.Could be simplistic to say that platitudes don't count. Why? They some up what we feel about something we see or do. Again good testimony.

I've had a bad run that just turned around in the last 24 hours with 2 successful posts. Hope you get the same results soon. The advice you've gotten here so far seems solid so won't add to it, but with your Rep score I'd agree keep on plugging. Haven't seen your previous work but following now.

It is a bit difficult for me to give advice, as I have only written two posts after my introduction, because of low energy. I have written a lot of comments though, and this has given me 123 followers, so that is something, and something that motivates me.
So that is my advice, read, vote and comment a lot. Find people that you connect with, talk to them on the steemit chat. I personally do a lot of curation and voting, and I always vote for the same people that I have in my feed, whenever I seee their articles.
So you will eventually build a base of loyal followers/supporters, who appreciates your writing. Right now many of your followers will have very low SP and their vote will not count for much. But eventually their Sp will grow, and your rewards will grow with it.
Also rewards are down at the moment, I guess because of the low Steem price.
I have one other tip, go vote in the @steemsports contest. I placed 2 bets and won almost 4 SP, it is mean for steem redistribution, the winning chances are 50 percent, as there are only two options to choose from.

Things haven't been as good for me lately either. I feel like people are just less active on Steemit right now.

However on Steemit that's not true. In fact it's upside down.
It matters VERY MUCH who votes. because Every vote counts, but some count more than others some count a LOT more than others.
The votes you receive counted...they just didn't count ENOUGH to register...the system only tabulates .00001 or larger. They must have been plankton votes. Those with a reputation score less than 30 and not much Steem Power.
Hi Rep, Hi Steam Power votes count a LOT.
BernieSanders, for example, has over a million dollars tied up in his Account (real money, he wrote a check to buy Steem)...so his vote counts a LOT.
