Steemit Traffic Data, Engagement and other Metrics! [End of August Update]
Thanks to ALL of you, Steemit is growing fast!
We reached 16,9mn visits in August ALONE. This is 800 000 more visits in August which is not the most active month of the year in many countries. I can’t wait to have the data from September which should be very good.
For now, let’s focus on August data.
I] Traffic
Steemit website is ranked 2,181 worldwide vs 2,536 last month
Steemit is ranked 1,304 in the US vs 1,386 last month
Steemit kept on improving its ranking as it was ranked 12,000+ last year.
Google Trends
Google Trends are almost reaching their Mid-June peak.
Steemit Traffic share by country
The Top 5 countries share went down in August compared to July. It means that other countries are joining into the platform, which is very good for Steemit. It is truly becoming a global platform.
The strongest traffic growth came from Germany with +19.65% visits
Mobile Traffic is catching up fast as it represents 43.41% of the total
This is useful to know how people use the Steem platform. Initiatives like eSteem (mobile app) will probably help the community to grow on mobile phones.
II] Marketing Mix
As we can see, Organic Search is driving the number of visits, Google Organic Searches which ended on a Steemit's article from are up 35%!
Referring Social Pages
Facebook represents 42.9% of all social platforms incoming traffic. Reddit is also a strong sourcevisits on the Steemit Platform

Nice report and a lot of valuable information thou. according to alixa raking steemit is doing slow progress, is there any one is working on SEO( search engine optimization) in order to have a better rank in Google.
