WORLD PREMIERE on Steemit /// THE JUJU GUM CONSPIRACY /// January 8th 2018

So I decided to show you my JUJU!

A WORLDWIDE FILM PREMIERE on STEEMIT??? I don't know how often that has happened before on this platform but I haven't seen anything similar since I joined... and I think that's what is missing.

Like @juliakponsford, co-creator of the film, pointed out yesterday in her announcement post here, people will come to Steemit to read about different subjects but then they will quit the platform to watch a movie on Netflix. What if they watch the movie on Steemit instead?

So we spent some dough to film this and worked on it for 5 years, from the idea to the final product. Is it worth it to put it on Steemit and get a few dollars when it's all said and done?

Probably not.

Can this be an eye opener for some of the true potential of a decentralized platform for content creators?

Possibly.

Can a clown do ten times the payout by copying a link of a video he didn't even make from youtube and posting it on Steemit.

That's a fact.

So why bother then?

We like the potential of the platform, even the sleeping power for the content that you don't see on here right now. Most importantly we like the people of Steemit. We have made many friends here and we encounter amazing artists daily. We decided that we want these people to be the first to see our film, because they are supportive, kind and they have what it takes to get it. More then that, we like them, so we want to offer them the most precious thing that we can give.

Meet our little bastard child:

Everybody is chewing Juju gum, it’s the new sensation and it’s highly hypnotic ad campaign seems to be having some strange effects.

Created by a malicious organization called SOFIE, they targets three individuals using manipulative and highly unethical tactics to take complete control of their minds.

Cedric, a thug who is desperate for money is recruited by SOFIE to do their dirty work, Paul, a normally quiet and boring accountant is under attack and a mobster named Ivano finds his daughter missing. As these characters lives intertwine they must fight together to become free of The Juju Gum Conspiracy.

We are just finishing up the final edits of each episode, it was originally intended to be 21 but we decided to make each episode a little longer for a grand total of 14 original never aired anywhere episodes. Starting THE 8TH OF JANUARY 2018 we will post one episode a day (around 8pm EST timezone) for 2 weeks straight. We will keep the video links active until the 8th of february 2018. After that date we might present it on other platforms, but Steemit will be first.

The end product will be presented on this blog but you have to check @juliakponsford's page because she will discuss all the aspects of pre-production such as scriptwriting, casting, prop making etc. Until this fateful date of release I will do my part to promote the series by posting a few of the original 13 tracks I created for this project. The characters all have really different personalities so I designed the soundscape in many styles to fit them. That will be my special musical way to introduce them to you.
