@tipU Update: Voting Is Active
All right, after the small HF20 disaster, which among other problems, drained voting power of almost all users to 10% levels, @tipU finally recovered the VP and can resume the voting service :)
Now, one of the positive sides of HF20 is that the voting accuracy has been increased which means that @tipU can now accept payments as low as 0.1 SBD / STEEM (previously small upvotes were rounded up which meant that minimal payment had to be around 0.5 SBD / STEEM). Good stuff for minnows :)
Of course the negative ROI protection is still active, which means that the vote buyer will always receive back 100% of his payment in upvote value - or more. You can always check the current upvote return at @tipU profile page.
Hey @tipu, should I wait 30 minutes before requesting an upvote? I sent 25 steem but no vote was given for the last 20 minutes? :P
payment used: 34.586 STEEM -> upvote value: $39.981 (45.745 STEEM)
45.745*0.75 = 34.3 STEEM
I know the difference is marginal, but just checking if the new way of calculating returns has changed.
Its the same but the rounding could change because of the new voting mana mechanic. Thanks for the heads up, will check it out :)
The difference comes from the fact that SBD is a little cheaper than 1 USD so upvote has to be little higher to compensate for that.

Yes, @tipu accepts STEEM and yes, send link to your post in memo.
Hi @tipu - Usually a payment comes out as two parts STEEM and SBD (and then you have the option to convert the SBD part to STEEM).
I only received the first portion in my last payout - could you please help understand why this is?
I've checked all payouts before and after mine they all seem to fit the two part structure.
That's because @tipU was not voting and payout came only from curation rewards. Please check last investors report :)
