RE: Will Steemit Succeed? (English/Turkish)

You know I'm per se not a big fan of those who use bid bots in an excessive way. From my point of view it's counterproductive to the overall growth of the community, hence it decelerates the progress of this network.
Now if you boost your articles to the top, please make at least sure that the information given is correct, especially if you're publishing educational posts like this one here.
The "Steemit business model" as you call it is much more diverse and multifaceted than you describe here:
Steemit's business model is in a way very simple: The content is produced and money is earned in return.
First of all, there is no guarantee on rewards given. For a reason it's called reward and the community decides on how these rewards are distributed.
When Steem was created, the vison of their founders regarding the Steem eco-system was to give value back to those who create value, while that can happen in many ways - not only through content creation. Just think about witnesses (mining), curation rewards, rewards given for comments. Think about delegations and vote selling.
I furthermore recommend you to check completely new projects that will also expand Steem's business model - such as @oracle-d.
The following statement is confusing and also incorrect:
Money is being smuggled over to the system through exchanges by people who buy Steem or Sbd. (...) The price of Steemit currencies rises when the money entering is higher than the money exiting.
Money is being smuggled over? Wuuuut?
What do you mean by money and what is smuggling in that context?
The Steem price is defined by demand and supply at the exchanges where other currencies - such as Bitcoin for instance - can be exchange into Steem and Steem Backed Dollar.
There is no "money entering and leaving the system" as you call it.
The way you explained the true value of Steem Power is also incorrect.
Steemit also makes money from promotion. Those who want to promote themselves or their product at Steemit invest in Steem and turn it into Steem power and get the opportunity to stand out on the system.
Steemit doesn't "make money from promotion" if I - as a stakeholder - power up my Steem and convert it into Steem Power. The more Steem Power you have, the more influence you have in the network of Steem, especially by using your Steem Power as Voting Power. That's much more than self-promotion. Also it's not Steemit that profits here, it's you as a stakeholder, the community that's able to appreciate your vote and of course your power up can have a positive impact on the Steem price in the end.
Considering that the number of users of the platform increased by 80,000 per month, we can say that Steemit does not have a problem of failure.
80,000 per month? Where did you get that number from?

I gave this a vote earlier but didn't get a chance to simply say thanks for stepping in and attempting to set the record straight. I wanted to say something but I've been too frustrated lately with some of these posts popping up and it's been difficult for me to find my kinder and more gentler words.
Sometimes there is too much information. It takes you the whole day reading on steemit. It is making it more difficult to understand what is the right info and what is not.
I know what you mean, and thanks for the encouragement. Sometimes one doesn't know where to start. I think it's important to not give up on this and try to keep our standards high.

I also think that steam will succeed. But there is still a long way to go. You just talked about money, but there are a lot of things about it. I think the forum should be more user-friendly and easy to develop. Thus, more and more users can communicate with them. The registration process is too long. It should be small and flexible.

If you are going to go for visibility and rewards, in my opinion you have to stand up to the feedback. :) One shouldn't use the word "smuggle" haha.

Thanks for the detailed information! I think the fact community decides what is promoted and earns on here is the most unique advantage.
Unlike Facebook, YT, Instagram and other social networks whose goal is to serve their coporate masters and trying to lure you to staying on the platform as long as possible. Here we have a very strong filter against low quality content and spam, different from their easily manipulated one.
I loved Youtube until maybe mid 2010, but nowadays I'm just sick of it, I think it's going down the same path as MTV, National Geographic Channel and other golden-turned-into-trash media companies.
I belive Steemit together with D-Tube and Steepshot is well positioned to take them on and succeed in its own niche.

You're pretty right, I also believe that - besides Smart Media Tokens - the dApps built on Steem will be key for is overall success.
I'd like to add fundition.io - Steem account @fundition - to the two applications you just mentioned. It's a decentralized crowdfunding application built on Steem with a great usability. The projects set up on fundition perfectly showcase the power of Steem in many different shapes.

I get dozens of positive reviews every day. I rarely encounter criticism like yours, highlighting the weaknesses of my articles. I think critical perspectives like yours are a good opportunity for me to improve my work. The use of bots is not specific to me, it is valid for all the content on the top of the trend list. You're right about the Smuggling word. Because English is not my mother tongue, sometimes I can make such mistakes. As I follow all the projects developed in the steemit ecosystem, I know that Steemit's business model is not just promotion. I aimed at abstracting and making it easy to understand when I made this emphasis. I'm tracking steemit stats through @arcange and @penguinpablo accounts. The number of 80,000 is correct, it is the average number of newly acquired accounts monthly since the beginning of the year. The lesson I'm getting out of here is that I have to express the logic of calculation when I use this kind of data.

There's a saying that the air gets thinner at the top.
Yesterday your article was rated the second most valuable with regards to payout/upvotes in the entire Steem eco-system. At a position like that you need to deal with criticism. But please notice that mine was aiming to be constructive. I didn't flag you and also politely explained my concerns. Honestly you will learn much more from such statements than from all those who only celebrate you, so if I were you I'd just appreciate it.
Steemit's trending page is the most visited page by external users, including potential investors, the media, etc. If you use such an attention-grabbing title - Will Steemit succeed? -, then you have to make sure that your data is 100% correct.
Of course you need to explain well were your numbers come from. That's the basics of content creation: list your references (that applies for any data that is not yours). Be aware of the difference between accounts and users. In your article you were talking about 80,000 new users which is completely false.
If you have language issues, then let a native speaker read over your article before publishing it. This is a community, and we help each other. Are you using discord in order to engage with like-minded people from the Steem blockchain? If not, I'd highly recommend you to do this.
You know Steemit is not a place where you just drop your content, wait for it to make a quick buck, read the positive comments and leave...

I find it very disheartening the posts that are pushed to the trending page by bots. I have similar problems as the writer does explaining have steem works to new people and with the trending page the way it is it can be counter productive to tell people to visit the site and see for themselves. The posts on trending these days will do nothing to encourage new potential users except give them a very bad view of what steem is all about.
