2017 was the biggest year of Cryptocurrency. This is largely due to the rise of Bitcoin and its humongous price increase. January 12th, 2009 was the historic day for the cryptocurrency. That day first peer-to-peer bitcoin transaction occurred. Since then 300 million transaction registered.

Bitcoin price increased from $1000 to $20000 this year. As a result, It generates lots of mainstream media attention, Bringing new investor into the crypto market. Eventually, prices of other cryptos started to experience huge boost.

Moreover, $3.7 billion had raised through ICO in 2017. Among them, Infrastructure category dominates the ICO market. $1.2 billion raised in infrastructure category. Please find the ICO charts from coinshedule.

My purpose of this post is not bombarded with different data and stats. My sole purpose is to show the enthusiasm of cryptocurrency. Some people came to the market to make quick cash and live a happy life. Other groups of people really want to see the real success of cryptocurrency. There are so many cryptocurrencies out there which has the ability to revolutionize the particular sector.

If you consider Steemit as an example. It can revolutionize the social media platform and it is already doing this. We are grateful to the founder of steemit @dan & @ned. We never thought anybody can earn money from a social media. We are used to the traditional platform and never think of earning money. Steemit is not only a medium of earning money, You can learn a lot from the top experts of cryptocurrency, Science and anythink you can think of.

Now, The concept of decentralized social media is so powerful, Ever mark Zuckerburg is thinking about dencentralization.

To me, In near future, cryptocurrency will be widely accepted. Some countries will ban or restrict the use of cryptocurrency due to FUD or preserving national interest. But the growth and use of cryptocurrency will rise day by day. No one can stop crypto even corporate mogul and powerful governments.
