Hey guys, some of you have been seeing me post about www.steemit.com for about 7 months now. If you havent signed up yet, now is the time to do it. Let me reiterate from my last few posts about steemit, and how you need to be posting on there primarily instead of facebook or along side facebook.

Ok so what can you post???

How to sign up and start earning. Quick guide
1. Go to steemit.com and sign up ( This currently may take a few days to get your account active)
2. Make an introduction post. Tell steemit users who you are and what you do. Use all 5 tags (look for top tags on steemit front page, and make the first tage introduceyourself)
3. Look for people and posts that interest you and start voting. ( This will earn you curation awards over time as your account builds. Curation awards is money)
4. Comment on other posts so that people can upvote your comments and earn you more money.
5. Be patient and give yourself time to learn how it all works by getting a good feel. Steemit is here to stay. Now is the best time to start getting involved.
How Steem is money. How you Cash it out. How you power it up to earn more.
Every time you post, that post has seven days to earn Author Rewards/Money.
At the end of that seven day period there will be a payout of the total post earnings. You will see this at the bottom of your post.
The majority will go to you in your account in steem, and a percentage will go to all those who upvoted you.
You can take that steem and sell it in the market for SBD/Steem Dollars. Then Transfer that SBD to any Bitcoin Wallet.
You can then sell the profits in your bitcoin wallet straight to your paypal or your bank account with sites like coinbase.com
You can also power up your steem and move it to steem power. This will make your vote worth more as you upvote others posts and allow you to earn more on posts you upvote.
Adding photos to your post is a good idea.
How to add photos to your post.
1. Go to an external site such as www.imgsafe.org or www.imgsoo.net or any other free online image hosting site and upload a picture.
2. Get the .jpg url link and post it in the image icon in the top of your post.

people love being online, they love posting, they love commenting and upvoting..... now they can actually make real money doing it. This will increase quality content across the globe as it truly expands into something I see being much bigger than facebook.

Its a great post! Would that be ok with you if I translate it into spanish? I have to push my people from work to get into steemit!
I'm sure it would be WONDERFUL to translate ANYTHING into Spanish when correctly attributed.
Or French, German, Russian, Hindi, Chinese....
Steemit's the culmination of all the previous attempts at platforms directed to benefit artists, rather than leeching off them.

I got a video of song together to post, now all I have to do is get it off this freaking iPhone- iCloud has "an unknown error", so I guess I'll have to go travel back in time to midnight, go down to the crossroads, and make a deal with the devil...all I have to do is put iTunes in, "just the tip"...

As I am an artist and it is really a great platform to showcase my art to the community.
I'm still such a newbie. I'm not sure what I'm doing here.
I have been here about 7 months and its been a learning process, but well worth it !!! The potential for the site will only expand and grow as more people see that they can earn by posting the stuff they normally already post. Keep with it my friend, its a good time to get involved as the price of steem will be on a steady climb over the next few years. you will see your earning rise alot as the price goes up, as long as you continue to post vote and comment and remember power up and let those reward grow for yourself and the community.
And yet you have a 46 rep- so you're doing absolutely fine...
