Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 30/8/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

August 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this season which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, but what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep nicely under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having to be up so early in the morning. However I still wanted to do better but somehow ended up instead going to sleep slightly later than yesterday argh. Perhaps it was that middle of the day nap that placed me a little behind. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't any difficulty to sleep, thank goodness as the previous night I barely got any sleep likely due to anxiety which is silly as I didn't feel any. I actually began to enjoy going to those really early shifts last time, well let's say I could bare doing them at least haha. I'm not sure why but this does seem to happen often when I have very early morning shifts randomly in week. Perhaps it's in my head and negativity from those shifts in the past, and unfortunately today did actually bring some of those negative feelings back. Once sleeping I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, this was too early for my liking but great that I managed to sleep the entire time, however soon after I feel asleep again and must of missed the 2nd alarm! The alarm was set for a very early start, this was to try and be up on time for work haha. Well with only waking up to the 3rd alarm I had to get out of bed immediately! As for the weather this morning I would say it's similar to yesterday it was a partly cloudy sky, however because it was so early this was difficult to say, compared to yesterday it was a much darker morning that's for sure. But if it was anything like yesterday which it should be, it will clear-up during the afternoon and the sun will come out to provide us with lots of summer heat. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable, which was not too surprising after yesterday being so hot, this is even without the sun being exactly present, but I had little doubt it will be a warm one. Now because I didn't have much time before having to be in work there wasn't any chance to get anything done in the morning, well except get ready for work. When my free time was up I skipped breakfast and will instead have something in work later, before leaving I changed, got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work there was already a improvement in weather which left me with little doubt it would soon be getting warmer, this is because I could see the sun was already trying to come out from under the clouds, plus it didn't even feel fresh this morning. I also took the rest of the rubbish to dispose with me, normally there is nobody there at this time and yesterday morning I was surprised to see another man get in my way first. So I kept my eye out for him, as I think yesterday the guy may of also been on he's way to work, yes even if he was after just wondering around, perhaps he was just killing time until work. Arriving to work I was a little surprised to see it was our newest superior again who was opening up, I mean I had some idea it could of been her again as I guess this week she is likely assigned the very early morning shifts. But usually I get a different superior, I almost wanted to make a joke about no fire alarm tests this morning as that caused me way too any issues yesterday. But to be honest I was more worried about having to deal with the new network the system is on which was replaced yesterday, and that caused me further problems. Before that I done the usual preparations in the morning dealing with the safety checks first. Next I tried to put all into practice what I had learned yesterday to get the system to work "with me" and it actually went well making me feel like I have improved my understanding of it. There were still issues like I expected, I feel like in the end this system isn't exactly a improvement from the previous one, it's just "new" if that makes sense. Unfortunately there was a lot more to do this morning compared to yesterday so thank goodness there wasn't all the issues with the fires alarms like yesterday or I definitely wouldn't of been done on time. While yesterday I still had around 20 minutes left until completion today I only had 9 minutes to spare. But the superior had already given me other jobs which I wanted to get done in those 9 minutes. This of course was not possible but it really helped to do the best I could at that moment to prevent any further incidents. But from onwards it was just hell, there was way too much for me to get done alone and the worst thing was when I was missing information and asked a colleague to tell the superior so she could help with the situation. The problem and why I told a colleague in the first place was because the superior at that point was already busy with something else. I wasn't going to wait around for her and so told a colleague to pass on the message soon as she was available. Without her help I was missing pieces that was causing the system to became very awkward. She kept promising to help me but didn't and yes I understand she was busy of course, but the problem is not with her but a lack of staff and support. The issues I was experiencing made me think back to why perhaps I had that morning anxiety yesterday. She eventually did come to help but there was nothing that could be done but at least I had her permission to skip the issues off the system. I got in trouble for doing this last time and so I hope this doesn't come back to bite me, but heck I done what I was told by the person in charge so I better not get any nonsense from them. Looking over the task sheet for this week there was no assigned names which is good and the tasks seemed mostly easy, however I didn't even bother with them, there just wasn't any time. I was very glad when it was time to leave mostly because of just the chaos that this stupid shift was providing, but before I could escape I had to help others also with the new system. On the way home while there was more sun out I still thought it would of been warmer by that time but I guess there was still a lot of clouds around. When I got home I rested for a few minutes and then started on chores and I would expect to soon feel sleepy and require my nap. Well strangely this never happened, I didn't get tired enough that I thought I could sleep. Instead for most of the time I felt like I had more energy than usual and wanted to do things. Which this usually means I'm not at the point of being over tired. Don't get my wrong I got tired later but by this time I had to stay awake or risk really messing up my sleeping pattern. Instead of letting that motivation of wanting to do things go to waste I put it to good use with some cleaning activities and setting up the new printer. That's right the printer I brought now sometime ago I finally set-it-up. It was to no surprise the dam thing was frustrating as hell to set-up. Who would of thought setting-up a printer could be such a challenge in this day and age. I honestly felt like I was losing touch with technology as I struggled with it big time. But looking back at it the instructions where just so poor plus I was trying to get a wireless printer to work with a computer, which this one is of course capable of doing. I was also trying to set-it-up without using it's software CD, no wonder I was having such issues right? Well the problem is my latest computer doesn't take CDs which is annoying plus with previous printer I know that I managed to do it somehow. I finally got both the printer and scanner to work as it should and so I went to meet with friends online which I was terribly late for. Not wonder none of them turned up in the end. I was too tired for a small workout today and so lastly I started to prepared dinner and then I settled in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us.
