Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 8/7/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

July 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. Likely you have witnessed some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate this season. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, as some wait on another possible alt coin rally, Steem did almost double since it's bottom and while that was something to celebrate we done much better in the past. What this does mean is that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors💰. Last night I went to sleep just past the usual late hour which is disappointing considering I have a very early shift coming, this was mostly due to getting slightly hooked on the drama between Will Smith and he's former employee. I'm not the kind of guy to get into this nonsense but I do like he's films and my friends often talk about the things that have happened between Will and he's wife. This normally leaves me astonished and my friends can't ever believe I don't know anything about it. So the previous night the opportunity was right in-front of me to dive into it a bit "and so I did" last night I finished watching what was left. When I did try to sleep I thought there might be some difficulty as I may be over-tired but this was not the case, also the little sun we had earlier on in the day got rid of the cold for the night and so thankfully no extra layer needed. When I did fall asleep I woke-up only a few minutes to my scheduled alarm, this was sadly to the news that our cat Mandy had died in her sleep due to old age, R.I.P dear girl. I tried going back to sleep with little luck plus it was pointless, the alarm was set for later to make sure I get enough sleep. As for the weather this morning it was mostly cloudy, miserable looking, no sunshine. Temperature wise it remains cooler but not to the point that it's chilly, however without the sun by nightfall it could get to that point. Since I had work to get in for soon there wasn't much time for me to get many of the chores done, with my free time up I went for a quick and small breakfast before getting changed and ready for work. On the way it was a little brighter out but not by much however I'm just glad it was pleasant out. When I arrived to work I saw also the guy who deals with the extra work the superior was telling him that they are basically waiting on him. As I crossed paths with him he told me that there was a ton of work to get through today, we didn't talk numbers but he had me worried. I was getting myself ready when my boss approached me and told me I would be needed to stay late which I guess I expected after I was just told there was a lot of work. When I was settled I decided to check on those numbers and wow there was definitely a lot to the point that I had it already worked out that it would be impossible to get it completed by tonight. This would be unfortunate because my next shift would be really early tomorrow morning meaning it will be my job to get it completed on my own. In the end we got a lot more done of it than I expected but I didn't get completed. While I say it was impossible to get it done I actually think if we tried a little harder it would of maybe been possible but I'm honestly very happy with what is left for me to complete tomorrow morning. I was very glad when my shift ended as I was getting very tired, getting outside and making my way home it was slightly raining which was kind of nice to de-stress. Arriving home there wasn't really any time to get anyway chores done so I done a bit of exercise which I have been getting into a little bit more again. But yea likely not the best time to be exercising just after work when your knackered. There was no other time for me to get this done, after I went for dinner. Shame about the guy who seems to be letting us down on getting the extra work ready, well when I say letting us down I really mean "me". I'm honest that I don't want to be doing that job next week which I learned from a colleague that I will have to do it twice alone for 2 separate days while both of those who usually do the job take their time off. I don't mind that they get their rightly owed time off but I'm not happy that I have to be the one who covers some of their work. This as happened for the simple fact that the superiors have strangely let them both take their holidays at the same time! I mean back in the day that wouldn't even be allowed. So it annoys me even further as when I requested my time off for the event with friends around 2 months ago they didn't let me, and from what I could see back then they had the staff in to allow it. Still in the end I never managed to ask the guy why he was not supporting that work anymore as I had to deal with something else at the time. As for Steemit.com 📊 there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I still believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating better content but rather on how the site and the token is valued. Again not by it's content but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Work hard, try to hold it together, sometimes we can't and that's ok too.. Let yourself know this first off. After that "Pace" yourself, even in the mist of the storm you can make it. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN or a download site, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
