Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 8/6/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 8/6/2023.

June 2023 Marks us already halfway into the year, the Government starts trials on universal basic income schemes. This isn't the UBI for those who don't have jobs but it means everybody will get this wage. UBI as been in the works for many years some think this will solve many problems while others believe it will cause more of them, it could also very well destroy the value of any currency who takes this scheme up. As for Steem we previously had a big fall that took it down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem for our main goal this year. In 2023 what we are aiming for is to finally reach Orca or in other words this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power, this as so far been a 6 year project. Also if you want Steem to be a success or just looking to earn more you should vote mostly on those who do not power down. Powering down lowers the value of Steem, meaning it lowers the value of your investment or the Steem that you earn from posting. My account is a example as one of the very few on here who is not powering down rewards. I also buy into Steem often, your votes encourage me to keep on buying even more so keep them coming as buying also helps rise the price of Steem. By voting on these posts we try to protect and raise the price of Steem, we also plan to use this to buy even more when the price goes up. During the bitcoin downwave from 60k it also sadly took down the value of SBD's, however SBD's have done a excellent job at holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is that SBD's will once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again. As for Steemit the Team is trying something different as they experiment with smaller curation teams, around 4 or 5 people per team. This means there is less room for curator positions and so competition to apply was tougher, however it's said that the rewards will be greater. Tron as been appearing correctly in our wallets, however the TRX rewards are distributed less often, it can take 2 or 3 days sometimes even longer but at least we are getting them. The cost of living is spiralling upwards the reasoning said for all these high prices is the war in the Ukraine, guess we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history, they attack, strike up fear, call-out threats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly because of having to wait for some content creation but also since I had a long shift at work and returned back late I was behind on a lot of things so I was trying to catch-up. Normally I sleep well all night but for some reason I couldn't fall asleep which is unlike me, I initially thought it's because I'm thinking about too many things but looking back I have more often been able to fall asleep even if my mind as been racing. And so the only thing I can think of is it's probably because I'm over tired which I'm hoping as the week goes on I will be able to get to sleep earlier. To make this even worse this morning I woke-up hours before my alarm, I don't know why but perhaps it was again having a busy mind or stress. I tried to relax and fall asleep but only managed it hours later. So I slept until my alarm and I also rested past it, no surprise there as I'm running on little sleep now. The morning was however a better one at least with the sun already out shinning making it feel warm enough so that the morning wasn't a chilly one. With that said I'm sure that this afternoon is going to be a hot one and so I guess the forecaster was right about this morning being sunny.. yup being 3rd time lucky.. yeah if you just keep saying it's sunny all the time I guess at some point your going to be right. I started with doing some chores and lastly I went on Steemit. I had work today so there was not much time in the morning to get much done especially since getting out of bed so late. Once my free time was up I went for a quick breakfast before changing and then heading out for work. When I left it continued to be sunny out and unfortunately around the half way mark to work I started to get the old hayfever symptoms. They were not too severe but enough to already start making me dread what is coming but I also can't complain as people were already suffering from it a few weeks ago. When I got into work I was doing the usual but before I got on with work one of the staff was boasting about her holiday and the places she's visiting. Since I had a bit of experience she asked me a few things and I told her some of my recommendations and things to consider. I could already she one of the superiors having a wondering eye on me perhaps wondering why I'm not working. I didn't push my luck much further and left after telling the girl going on holiday what I knew. Speaking of knowing thins I already knew there would be the extra work coming in today but I still had some time before it should arrive and so I thought I would try and tackle the last tasks given to me specifically from the superior. What I didn't expect however was that I would actually have ton of time before the extra work would be ready to start because there was massive delays. Infact the delays made it so that I couldn't leave on time and after that I was told I would have to stay a few hours longer which I had already prepared for earlier and so wasn't too bothered about it. Once the extra work was started me and another colleague rushed to get this done on time as we was a few hours behind because of the delays. And we absolutely crushed it, to the point that I just about managed to get out of there before everybody else was about to leave. Yesterday I couldn't even do much of anything before my boss pulled me over and said he had some staff nomination for me this week and so I was given another little treat. I was honestly surprised because the main vote came from someone who I feel we don't really see eye to eye, still I must remember to thank her when I next see her. Not sure if it's because of some life changes but one of the staff there who I haven't spoken much with was being strangely extra friendly, it was nice to see her in such a good mood even if she did still complain about work lol. I saw her again briefly today and she seemed a little more normal and calm which was good. Apparently because a few things have been moved on the system and have gone missing there are now serious searches being carried out. Now I'm not sure how true that is when it comes to things being stolen because it could simply be their excuse to start searching people again. But there is also the likely case that the missing things have just been simply misplaced, but as always the workers get the blame for it. Yes sure there could be some stealing going around but this usually only happens for real when new people join. I find it a little odd that it's been a while since we had new people and suddenly stuff as gone missing, but heck these are hard times so who knows. Also before leaving another superior was asking me questions about my work schedule for the week, I thought it was suspicious until he warned me that he was after me so that I could do a training test. Argh it's one of the ones I hate the most and so instead of getting home and being able to relax these past 2 days I been doing a little revising. When I got outside from work it was a little cooler compared to inside but not by much as I had just caught sundown. The other evening while talking with my father we came to the conclusion that in order to get some things organised I needed to go and see him soon I have been looking for opportunities to go and work as now given me a few dates I could try for and where I'm allowed, so let's see if anything comes up.
