Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 6/1/2024
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 7 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 6/1/2024.

January 2024 We have moved on to a new year, the holidays are about to finish for many and here we are just in the beginning of the new year. Not sure how you are feeling about the new 2024 year but for the first days of January I have felt mostly positive, however who knows what 2024 will bring there are always going to be unpleasant time ahead.. Regardless of how you chose to spend yours I wish you a ✨Happy New Year🥂 for 2024! ✨ 🥂 ✨. But while feeling mostly positive for the new year it's not exactly starting as I would like. The other day while I was online with friends I continued to feel worse from earlier in the day where it appeared I was getting the flu. I went to sleep feeling unwell mostly a sore throat is what irritated me the most. Surprised to of had a reasonably good nights sleep, the following morning brought some positivity with the sun shining very bright which had not been seen in a while, I was feeling much better that morning, elevated even from what seemed like a 2 day flu. But this was sadly not the case at all, once again after being with friends online I started to feel real bad again, weak, cold chills and like I had been hit by a truck. I decided at that point that I definitely wasn't going online again, thankfully I managed to sleep mostly well, I did wake-up during the night about half 3 feeling like I had some energy to burn, so I got up moved about a bit and tried going back to sleep. I was glad I didn't have work first thing in the morning because it was a real struggle to get out of bed, heck I wasn't sure if I would be able to handle work but since I didn't need to be in for too long I thought I would give it a go. Luckily the weather going into work was decent and I somehow made it to the end of my shift, when I got home I feel asleep a few times before eventually going to sleep for the night around 2 in the morning. I actually forgot to place on the alarm "very rare for me" and because of this I slept until very late which in one way I was hoping would be a good thing in that I would feel better for doing so. For all the rest I got I was disappointed with the improvement, but I guess it was only until later in the day that I saw I was able to get a few things done which is a good improvement from yesterday. I was incredibly lucky not to have work again so that I could of rested for so long, I done a few more things but still having plenty of rest still disappointed with the lack of recovery. Today I also rested until late but woke-up before my alarm which is a good sign, I didn't try to do much as I had work later and I had a bad feeling about it. Even before leaving I was doubting I would be able to handle it and felt like I wanted to take a nap. When I got to work it seems my bad feeling was right as there was a ton of extra work to get done today and there was no way of escaping it. Didn't think I was going to make the shift as I also thought I was going to have the entire newbie team to deal with but luckily that was not the case and shockingly we got all the work completed. I'm definitely not taking much of the credit for that as I felt so rough. To make the day worse I was very sad that today was the last day of one of my colleagues, she's a real sweet girl and would make a great friend but she is apparently going to try and move on with her medical studies as she received news that she was able to get a spot in medical school. Before leaving she wanted us to take photos together and of course I wished her the best of luck, with similar news also one of our superiors will be leaving which in one way is good but it's worry if someone worse get's in. By the end of the work day I strangely felt better from this flu but of course still have a bit of a way to way to go. Argh this dam flu which I guess was a long time in the making, just a shame it as to be so early on in the year, but maybe it's better to get it over and done with now before any important events show up. Still I really hope for more improvement tomorrow, it's at times like this that it should remind us on how lucky we are to be healthy when we are not sick.
