Daily Steem Price Update 6/1/2019
Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 6/1/2019 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem prices and changes for just over 2 years now.
I also want to mention just incase your thinking something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do slightly change from time to time.
But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as its important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 6/1/2019
Should you be trading with Steem today..
Here we are 2019 we made it! Now some of you still have hopes on seeing Steem rise to $2.00 but as expected that didn't happen. Last year the price started with Steem and SBD's simply booming but this time we leave 2018 with Steem at $0.26 and now 2019 Steem as mostly been at $0.28. Yesterday Steem barely moved and while that is frustrating to some its not such a bad thing, today we can see Steem is still alive, for movement we saw Steem firstly drop to $0.27 at ⏰02.20 its nothing to worry about at first but it did stay there rather longer then expected we only saw it come out of $0.27 at ⏰13.40 to $0.28 as usual. But there was still one more step today which didn't come to a big surprise considering how steady Steem was yesterday, yes that's right we have seen steem step up to $0.29 and at the moment is holding much better, we have seen Steem reach $0.29 in 2019 already but for a very brief moment. Now while $0.29 as so far been the highest for 2019 we could see it get a little higher, if we look at Bitcoin it upwaved today from $3772 to $4050 and yes its holding also well at the moment. It's already been predicting that 2019 could be a very dull year for prices unless something changes but if nothing happens then I hope those who are in this game will be strong and will take this opportunity to keep collecting Steem before it gets even more difficult to obtain. But at these low prices we are still on a survival mode era of Steemit.com as Bitcoin's value dropped drastically forcing Steem's own value to tank causing "Steem INC" staff reductions and a possible threat to the website. With this news the conclusion was to survive by cutting down the costs of nodes among other strategies which will still take time to implement. Right now there is a focus on a multi index RocksDB adapter which is a new technology in development to allow the Steem blockchain nodes to store almost all it's necessary data to a disk in a modern database instead of RAM, this move will make nodes cheaper. The good news is with recent development Ned said we should be able to save enough to make it past this years bear market not only that but remember we fell to $0.22 and look were we are now at $0.29, we are slowly getting into a good place. While Ned's news is amazing it's only speculation, we now still need to actually do this and survive. Steemit INC said they are on track with it's cost reductions like RocksDB and also moving forwards with SMT's. Now while there as been a slight improvement for Steem it's been an even better day for SBD's they nearly made it back to $0.80, SBD's were sitting around $0.76 and at first SBD's spent most of the day going downwards very slowly reaching eventually $0.74 which we saw happen at ⏰06.55 but at ⏰17.20 we had a stronger upbump taking SBD's from $0.75 to $0.77 and later $0.79.

Hey @jkenny so we can see Steem is still alive as for movement we saw Steem firstly drop to $0.27 and later hit $0.29 which was expected, it might not be much of a surprise to see it even reach $0.30 finally very soon.
