Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/9/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

Sept 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this season, perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season. But what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to some article reading and more Indiana Jones. Still I wanted to do better with sleep to recover from those crazy shifts, as I started to feel a little unwell "not the flu kind of way" but feeling run down which I think came a lot from the stress at work due to that new network system being installed recently. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't any difficulty to sleep, I was surprised as it was already so late and thought that may effect my sleep. Once sleeping I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is what I want. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this was to try and help me get my sleeping routine back on track. I rested for a while longer past the alarm which I'm glad about "if it makes me feel better" it wasn't for that long and I would say I have been feeling better since 2 days ago but let's see how it goes today due to the late night. As for the weather this morning I was a little surprised, it was really cloudy making it a very dark morning and I guessed what surprised me the most was the rain which came a slight touch of mist, no sign of the sun. Usually it will clear-up by the afternoon but lately it only gets partially clear, even with that it's been providing us with some good summer heat. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable, and normally during the afternoon it gets a little too hot but this morning it was very chilled. The slight late start to the day was not much of a problem as I didn't have work to be in for today. This is good as it will give me time to try and get some chores done, not only that but I want to take the time to already organise my work laptop, for my trip visiting my father. While I already done this a few months ago I of course have to make sure everything is updated or else that will cause me a lot of trouble when trying to get anything done. There are also a few other things I must load and install on there to make everything work as it should, if lucky it won't take all day haha. Another thing is I wanted to get more Steem but looking over the usual guys they are again very inconsistent which is happening so much lately making it a pain. I have still have not had time to look into loading all the files onto the new memory stick which will hold all the retros. I would like to update it from the glitchy one I have currently, since it's glitchy and as already many times over done wipes on certain files, I will be glad to see it go. Another thing I wanted to get more of done is the clothing, the packing for my trip but at the moment most of it is getting washed and dry, which the rain today is not helping with and I don't think I will have the time. See I have friends who are still on holiday and others who are "preparing" to fly away again and so I have lots to get done as "like my friends" I want to start preparing a few things for when I go to visit my father. The reason for doing some of this now is to not panic later about having so much to do with little time left. Not only that but if my friends return at some point before I go they will demand to meet, so if I get these things done now I might have the time to still see them before I leave for my own trip. I'm feeling better about that horrible new system from work, but I'm sick of hearing "there's a trick to it" because honestly every single little thing with that new system requires a "little trick"! Shouldn't the dam thing work without having to know 10 different tricks to it!! I feel like in the end this system isn't exactly a improvement over the old one, it's just "new" so they gave us knew equipment but it doesn't work any better than the previous one. Arriving to work yesterday like usual I started a little earlier to battle the new stupid system, but this time there was no need as there was no problem during it's start-up. However I did have problems with it later, it just didn't want to register simple commands.. but you know what... I think I figured out what was the problem, again there is a trick to it... When it came to the weekly tasks this week I have been lucky, initially before they had them updated I had already started with a few things myself that I felt needed to be worked on at that moment. Well I was lucky enough that when the tasks were updated one of them I had already been working on and had mostly completed. And so while that task was actually assigned to someone else "I stole it" and put myself down for it and completed it. My colleague was pleased when I told him that he won't have to bother with doing that particular task And yesterday was similar as my boss talked about the first thing he wanted me to get done, at that point "I was already smiling" because it was a easy thing to get done that was already placed on the task sheet. And so by doing that task "as instructed by my boss" I could essentially steal another job, and so I assigned my name to it and taking the burden off another colleague for the week. Anyway it was to no surprise today that sorting out the work laptop took most of the day however what pleased me was that I managed to make a trade in the end for a little more Steem. Had a shower no quick work-out but maybe later, still need to see if I can start organising my bag "clothing" but likely only tomorrow "that's if I'm lucky". Lastly I started to prepared dinner checked for any news from my father which he finally got in contact but not with the information I wanted. I also checked-in with my friends holidaying and apparently they are finally coming back, after I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". The changes aren't anything drastic thankfully, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us.
