Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin which likely you have recently witnessed some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However that does mean that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors. Last night I went to sleep at the usual late hour while not great it's a improvement from the past 2 nights. I was also doing some late shopping, I was searching for a emergency spare phone that I had my eye on but the company as not had it in stock for a week and now they have changed their product line, they also made the one I originally wanted much more expensive for whatever reason. When I did go to rest it was easy to fall asleep, while it was still a cold night I already had on a extra layer but didn't bother with the blanket as I suspected I would get too hot. I think even with the extra layer I probably got a little too hot during the night but this is ok at least I managed to sleep. Yes it's been cold again especially during the night since the storm hit us 4 nights ago. When I did go to sleep I woke-up only for my scheduled alarm which was great as I wanted to catch-up on sleep after the previous very late ones. I then woke-up to my alarm ringing but did continue to rest for way longer past it argh. The alarm was already set for later than usual as I want to make sure I get enough sleep so as to not get unwell. I could of still easily rested for longer it seems but I had things I wanted to get done. As for the weather this morning it's continued on from yesterday which is giving us some nice bright sunshine hopefully it will stay as it looks like it will remain to be a nice day. While it was a late start to the day this was not much of a problem as I didn't have work to get in for but still I wanted to get done some basic chores. I could of gone to see friends as they wanted to meet today as they are having a extended weekend off from work and it would of likely been a good day out but I already had it planned to only meet with them during the week coming. The past few days I talked about how I was sure I had a fire test to get done at work but how I instead received a test on some documentation. Well during my last shift I finally got the fire test, it's strange why I'm getting this so late, however I did notice others were doing different tests which I assume was the documentation tests. After completing the test there was no feedback which usually means everything was answered correctly. I was waiting to see if I would get anything today about the fire test results and still nothing so I assume it's all in the clear now. Since it was likely all friends would be online today I decided to go on later, mostly all were present and we got a lot done but I did hope to get further still. I'm still waiting to get a reply from my friend so that everybody can more or less make their final decisions about the event coming next month. However I should of found out either last night or tonight about my own situation on whether I can attend for at least one of the event days. Well I did check last night and for some reason the information was not updating and so I hope for better luck tonight. Even if only for half a day I would like to go but I must admit it's not looking good following the structure and pattern I have been seeing lately. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating content but rather on how the site and the token is valued "again not by it's content" but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point of having alpha testers. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
