Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 28/8/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

August 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further but maybe it won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this season which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, but what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to quickly checking out a recommended series and some more giant spider trouble haha. When I did try to reach slumber there was some difficulty to sleep, I think this was mostly because of being uncomfortable knowing there is a big spider somewhere, and one very annoying fly in my room. Once sleeping I woke-up over 1 hour to my scheduled alarm, this is very annoying and I don't know why this happened but I guess since I need to be up early tomorrow this may help me sleep earlier tonight? Well here is hoping, I tried going back to sleep with little luck. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this was to try and get my routine back on track which I will need for tomorrow as this week I got those very early horrible morning shifts again, twice. As for the weather this morning similar to yesterday it was a partly cloudy sky, however this time the sun was having little trouble being seen. If it was anything like yesterday which it should be, it will clear during the afternoon providing lots of summer heat. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable, which was not too surprising after yesterday being so hot, and so with the sun already being very much present there is little doubt. Because I didn't have to be in work this slightly late start to the day was not much of a problem. There was originally plans to meet with friends today but this was only if it was going to be a park meeting, because if we done anything else I was worried I would arrive home too late tonight. That would of been a problem considering I have work so early tomorrow and it's going to be a longer shift than usual. That's why it was already decided in the end to meet with friends only this past Monday as most of them wouldn't be able to meet today because of work. This is good as it gives me a chance for getting some chores done, not only that but I'm also after more Steem and lately it's been a little more difficult again. Well today was no different wasted half the day waiting around for a seller, normally the mornings are the best time to make this happened but I have noticed the good sellers seem to have switched the mornings for evenings. Perhaps I might have to try instead to buy on days where I work mornings, I don't know yet but these fools can't seriously expect you to be waiting around all day free for them. In the end a deal was made but this was only done many hours later which is very annoying. After the nonsense I was sad to discover our cat Tammy as died due to old age. The heat today really didn't help her either but at least she died peacefully in her sleep R.I.P dear Tammy. Once I got it together I went for some exercise and a shower. Lastly I started to prepared dinner, checked to see if my father was trying to phone me while checking-in with friends who are holidaying which they seem to be enjoying, and then I settled in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned before there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any websites to download movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's of any good use to me.
