Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 27/8/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

August 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further but maybe it won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this season which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, but what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to being out meeting a friend, which then made me late for getting dinner set. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't any difficulty to sleep, not too surprising since I was tired from visiting my friend and had developed a small headache close to the time of leaving their house. Once sleeping I woke-up over 1 hour to my scheduled alarm, initially I don't know why this happened but a little later I know it was due to someone shouting from outside. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this was to try and get my routine back on track which I will need as this week I got those very horrible early morning shifts again. As for the weather this morning I was surprised to see it returned to being mostly a partly cloudy sky, the sun was trying very much to be seen. If it was anything like yesterday which it should be it will clear during the afternoon providing some summer heat. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable, not too surprising as the sun is being partly seen. Because I had to be in work only later the slightly late start to the day was not much of a problem and like this there was a chance for getting some chores done. When my free time was up I had a quick small breakfast, before leaving I changed, got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work there was already a improvement with the weather which left me with little doubt it would soon be soon getting hotter, of course it will.. as I'm going to work now...argh. Arriving to work I was surprised not the see the guy who is dealing with the extra work because he is normally in before me, well everyday so far that we have worked together. He arrived soon after with the superior telling him that the other colleague for the extra work had already arrived and was waiting for him. I suspected that to be the case because I was sure I saw the other colleague driving in. Well I guess there is no need to guess if there will be any extra work on this shift.. Especially since yesterday when I was still visiting my friend work had sent me messages warning that I would need to stay longer, meaning surely that on this shift there will be a lot to get done. When I had time I went to look at the stats and was not happy to see it was exactly the same amount form the previous time that we really struggled to get it completed. I was just in hope it would be a little easier for this shift with it's set-up. Infact that turned out to be the case, last time we managed to get it completed right on time after putting a lot of effort in and struggling, however this time we nearly had 30 minutes left for it's completion. While it was still hard work for sure we didn't struggle like last time, but I was right about it getting very hot during work which was uncomfortable. Looking over the task sheet for this week there was no assigned names which is good and the tasks seem easy. I was glad when it was time to get out of there mostly because I was feeling hot and time was dragging. On the way home it was sadly already getting dark quickly, however it still remained hot, there was no night cool breeze to enjoy. When I got home it was too late to get started with any chores, I rested for a while and later I started to prepared dinner. I checked to see if my father was trying to phone me while checking-in with friends who are holidaying which they seem to be enjoying, and then I settled in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned before there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any websites to download movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's of any good use to me.
