Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 27/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on May 21th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. Likely you have already witnessed recently some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However that does mean that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors💰. Last night I went to sleep just past the usual late hour which is disappointing but compared to previous nights it's a improvement. Especially since I was out with friends yesterday and only going to sleep when it was past 3 in the morning! When I did try to go to sleep it didn't thankfully take me as long to drift off, it was still longer that usual but better. When I did fall asleep I woke-up with still over 1 hour of sleep time remaining before my scheduled alarm. Not exactly sure why it happened but I think I was dreaming and someone was calling me in the dream and I answered it just as I woke-up, it was indeed strange. I tried getting some more sleep and while it was difficult I did get a little more which is good as I don't want to get fully unwell again. I say this because my throat felt sore the past few days, I'm not sure if I'm getting unwell or it's the beginning of some hayfever. I woke-up to the alarm which was set for earlier than usual and so there was no chance to rest any longer as I needed to get out of bed for work. As for the weather this morning I would say it was mostly sunny, a clear blue sky, already very bright out for the time, perhaps that was what caused me to wake-up so early. But best of all it wasn't cold, however it didn't take long after for it to get cloudy which I didn't expect. They told us on the forecast that once the remaining dull weather passed it would be 3 months of solid heatwaves, well no surprise but that story as changed now to "it will only happen next month". Still I have little confidence in that statement as the weather is very dynamic around here. With work starting so soon there was no chance of me getting any basic chores done before my free time was up. While there was time for breakfast this morning I decided to skip it and instead eat there, I changed and left for work. On the way to work I took the rubbish to dispose, the wind was trying to pick-up a bit and it remained mostly cloudy with the sun trying it's best to be seen. When I arrived to work the new superior who had been ignoring me for most of his time there while training has finally decided to take notice of me. But this was exactly as I expected because yesterday I saved his ass from getting into potential trouble with my boss for a few mistakes that he made during a very short period of time. Funny as the first person I was expecting to see was my colleague who had been doing he's training so that he is able to get the extra work set-up for us. Yes the one who said that I wasn't being very encouraging or supportive enough towards him. But I just wont pretend to sugar coat 🍭something that's not good. Previously at work I began to notice everybody was wearing the promotional T-shirt from a few weeks ago, I guess I must of missed the MO on that oopps. Luckily this is not a problem and nobody brought it to my attention and so I told myself I will try and remember to wear it next time. But never did lol, at least today I remembered and likely just in time as they brought it up during a briefing for staff to wear it, yup I had that covered phew. As for the new training superior who will only be with us for around 4 weeks "thankfully" as mostly all I see this guy doing is checking he's phone and walking around back forth. However I admit he's been actually working well for most of this week. However he does keep getting distracted now by one of the girls there, that's even right after his partner came in with he's kid for a quick visit to see where he was training at lol. I still remember when in work last I was told by a superior that the boss of my boss did inquire about me... oh no I thought.. but it was only to mention that "I'm always working a lot and it didn't seem like I would have a moment to stop for a quick chat". It sounded like this was a negative thing, which really does make you feel like you just can't ever make them happy can you!? If you don't look busy they don't like it, and apparently if you're too busy working "doing your job" well that's wrong too...🤷‍♂️ Still I was glad when I got out of there today as it was dragging and I had much to get done at home, even with that I decided I was going to go the longer way home. It was kind of funny because I was taking the longer way to be out in nature and to get some exercise but yet one of my colleagues stopped me about half way and insisted they would give me a lift. Yes in the end I did refuse, it was a nice offer it's just a shame that doesn't magically happen when it's a horrid day to be out lol. Continuing home I went to the shops quickly to pick-up a item for my friend which I will give to them next time we meet, the weather was only slightly better compared to this morning with the sun being seen a little more. Home I started getting on with some chores as I had to catch-up from yesterday after being at work all day and meeting with friends after. Speaking of I asked friends if some had been complaining about the others not turning-up to the event because I couldn't make it. I was happy to hear there was no bitching between them or at least that's what they told me. I'm just very annoyed that work 🤬 they didn't give me the time off I needed to attend the event days. I meet with friends online later to which they were all there very much on time and so we made good progress. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I still believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating better content but rather on how the site and the token is valued. Again not by it's content but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point of having alpha testers. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
