Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 25/8/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

August 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further but maybe it won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this season which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, but what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was firstly due to doing all the bookings for my travel. That put me behind on having dinner and I also admit that I got distracted listening and searching for new music. When I did try to reach slumber there surprisingly wasn't any difficulty to sleep after listening to such loud exciting music haha. Once sleeping I woke-up only a few minutes to my scheduled alarm, no surprise there as with little sleep surely it would of been close to the alarm. Shame as last week I almost managed the full week without waking up prior to the alarm. The alarm was set for earlier than usual, this was to make sure I was awake on time for work, but also to try and get my routine back on track which I will need as I discovered that this week I got those very horrible early morning shifts again. As for the weather this morning I was surprised to see it return to such a bright and beautiful morning with a clear blue sky and plenty of sunshine. I know it's August but the past few days have been mostly dark and cloudy with some rain. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable, I thought it would be chilly this morning since that's how it's been but considering the sun was back it was actually just fine. Because I had to be in work very soon there wasn't a chance for getting any chores done. When my free time was up I skipped breakfast as I would get something in work later, before leaving I changed, next got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work it continued to be a beautiful day and so I was surprised by how quiet it was out even if it was a Sunday. Arriving to work I didn't expect to see our newest superior in for whatever reason, well it could be because she's been on holiday lately. The guy who usually asks me to do cover work was also in which I don't see him do often likely he is also still covering for those on holiday. With the extra work being set soon I went to see the stats of it and was not happy that it was about the same as last time where we just about managed to get in completed by pushing ourselves. Looking over the task sheet for this week there was no assigned names which is good and the tasks seem easy. Like always the guy who begins with the extra work started early and this worried me that they would get me to go and set it. Luckily this didn't happen and it didn't take long after for us to get started. While there was in general slightly less for us to get done compared to last time I was still confused how certain parts were so easily done. In the end we managed to get the job completed nearly 2 hours before our target. Perhaps this is what prompted a visit from the superior I have no clue what she wanted she just turned up checked on what I was doing and then left again. I feel she was likely checking-up on me but the thing is she doesn't normally do this so it's odd. Still I continued to be busy until it was time to escape. I was glad when it was time to get out of there mostly because I was tired from the work and time was dragging since we had completed the extra work. On the way home the weather was already changing slightly, for the worse but it was still very pleasant out that I took my time getting home. When I got home I started with chores, there was lots to get on with but because yesterday I got some Steem and there was also the job of booking all my travel there was at least less to deal with. I found some amazing deals 3 days before I managed to book it all but because I had not yet a 100% confirmation from work I waiting a a few days. This annoyed me slightly as they kept complaining to me to get it sent to them so they could confirm it... yet when I told them they didn't bother to confirm everything until a few days later, argh😡! Regardless everything is now booked and confirmed to visit my father, I paid a little more for being late but it's all still cheaper than previous times. I will tell my father the news in a week or two maybe even longer as a surprise. Even with less things to get done trying to organise a day out with friends for the middle of the week before some of them leave for their holidays all took much longer than I expected. I also got back into exercising again these past 3 days which is good, let's see how long it lasts haha. Later I started to prepared dinner, checked to see if my father was trying to phone me while checking in with friends who are holidaying "which they have now got back to me after 2 days of silence" and then I was settling in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned before there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any websites to download movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's of any good use to me.
