Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 24/12/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Dec 2024- It's Christmas Eve and we are a only a few hours away from the big day and so I can imagine that many of you are celebrating the evening with friends and family. So I will keep todays post sort but I would just like to take a quick moment to remind people to be humble and thankful as many people and animals may no be in a situation to be enjoying such a occasion, those in war or deep in poverty are a few examples. But also those who have to work during most of the holidays making the Christmas of others a success, for example when I left work today I took a quick look inside our closest super market just in-case one of my treats was selling for cheap. What I saw inside was chaos, could it really be true that all these people are not prepared for tomorrow? Or is it people just can't stop buying more and more and more things. Looking at the employees in there I couldn't spot a single one of them that looked happy and I don't blame them, if any were smiling it's likely because their boss told them to put on that face but I didn't see any of them even look like they were having fun in the mist of chaos. It's sad many have to work so late on Christmas Eve fuelled by the consummation of people and the greed of companies, what ever happened to it all being about time spent with loved ones? While it seems this is now lost for many I still hope that in future we can improve on this tradition, regardless I wish you all a wonderful Christmas Eve.
