Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 21/12/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Dec 2024-Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to picture hunting. When I did try to sleep there was some difficulty, not sure what exactly was preventing me from sleeping but likely being over tired. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is how I want it. Most mornings I'm resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. I have now come off my nearly 2 weeks "well 9 days" of taking all the rest I can on days that allow me to. And so I understand it's going to be difficult to now try and get back into a routine of getting up earlier. For the weather this morning it was dark, the sky was all cloudy, it looked miserable out, no rain which is surprising, temperature wise it was just about comfortable likely due to the heating being on. It was a late start to the day but this was mostly expected as I try to come out of the extended resting period. Thankfully the late start was not much of a problem as I only had work later in the day and so this was a opportunity to get chores and some other things done. However being up so late means I get less done but that's better than nothing. For our new years eve plans I'm still waiting on what time we have to be at the venue to secure seating, knowing this would help me I think now complete the plan for the rest of the evening. The information I got from work for new years eve schedule was of course not as desired but it could be worse. Due to the cold or something yesterday night I started to feel a sore throat, I'm surprised I managed this long without getting one, it's still mild but it did get slightly worse and if I'm really lucky I won't get fully unwell for Christmas but the flu is really trying to push through. I had to spend some time organising the things given to me from meeting with friends online last night, it was suppose to help me originally clear things up but instead it made it worse but I guess in a good way haha. I done what I could, and with my free time over I ate lunch, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work even just opening the door to get our was a struggle...why? Because it was unexpectedly windy, to make things worse it started to rain slightly however it was not so cold which is a plus for me. When I got to work I was expecting it to be cold like it was previously but this was not the case, not because they fixed the heating but I guess because it generally wasn't as cold which was a good thing. The extra work was already set and the team had already almost completed the first part of it which I helped get finished. But before that I looked over the schedule and I was down to just assist on the extra work but this time I didn't take that into considering until later on because for the moment there was not much going on with the usual work. Initially that work was being shared between colleagues which made sense to me. However later the same shit started happening where on paper it's got me as the only person to be assisting on making sure the extra work gets completed but towards the last parts of the shift I was again the only person actually on the regular work. The worse part was went the extra work was completed instead of the superiors getting anybody from the team to help with the regular work they simply didn't, and leaving me to do it all on my own which honestly is taking liberties. All they do is talk rubbish about team work and yet I didn't see any teamwork tonight as they had all this extra staff in yet they had them doing nothing which is a joke. Regardless of me complaining for whatever reason I was allowed to go home before everybody else, now you might think the reason why they done this was for my efforts but I don't believe it was. See I was the first to sign out of work and one of the superiors saw this and I think because she knew I was going to still be waiting around for a while not getting paid due to some last minute things she decided then I was good to leave. With escaping work it was already completely dark which is what I expected considering we all stayed to work longer, thankfully it wasn't too terribly cold getting home. Once I got home it was too late to get started trying to get any chores done. As for the quick work-outs I have finished the 2 weeks of extra rest and so hope to try and get one done after missing 26 days but with feeling like a flu is brewing it will likely continue to be on hold for longer. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I checked in with my father, then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 unfortunately Steem continued to stick to the dreaded middle ground, but at least the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 week 1 as started. So students pick your lessons and complete the homework tasks to earn Steem. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
