Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 19/12/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Dec 2024-Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to watching a video about isolated homes. When I did try to sleep there was some difficulty, not sure what exactly was preventing me from sleeping but likely stress or being over tired. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is how I want it. Most mornings I'm resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. I have now come off my nearly 2 weeks "well 9 days" of taking all the rest I can on days that allow me to. And so I understand it's going to be difficult to now try and get back into a routine of getting up earlier. For the weather this morning it was nicely light, with a mostly clear blue sky, there was some sun but I do believe this won't last the day, temperature wise it was cold from the start even my pillow was already cold. It was a late start to the day but this was mostly expected as I try to come out of the extended resting period. Thankfully the late start was not much of a problem as I only had work later in the day and so this was a opportunity to get chores and some other things done. Well that's not exactly the case I guess due to waking up late but there was enough to get at least some things done. I'm waiting on confirmation from some friends about planning for new years even yesterday there was some progressive text exchanges, still I need information on seating from the friend who will give us the discount and exactly how to get there. The information I got from work for new years was of course not as desired but it could be worse. My friends want to get food before going to the venue which for now as also already been organised. Due to the cold of something last night I started to feel a sore throat, I'm surprised I managed this long without getting one, it's still mild if I'm really lucky I won't get one but the cold all morning didn't help. I done what I could, and with my free time over I ate breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work I took with me some of the plastic bottles to dispose, it was very cold out. When I got to work it wasn't much better the last few days it was nicely warm but not today. I already wasn't looking forward to this shift because I would be in charge of the extra work which also means enduring more of the cold. I overheard a lot of talk about the extra work giving me a bad feeling it meant there was going to be a ton of it. While overhearing some of the plans about it someone mentioned what time it was to be set and that was still one hour away giving me time to get some paper work done. Before doing the paper work I still had no idea on the damage so I looked it up on the system still expecting it to be very bad. But no it wasn't bad sure a bit more than usual but nothing that will be too difficult on my part. One of the staff was suppose to tell me the guy for the extra work was ready slightly earlier but this information never reached me which the superior was not happy about and I had to pretend to be annoyed with the guy. Once the team got started on the extra work I believe it was only possible to have it completed due to the extra number of staff and a few more who done over time. If it was not for their efforts it wouldn't of been completed on time. The superiors were panicking so much about getting it completed but honestly we was done 1 hour earlier and could of even done better if pushed more but there is no point in that. While the extra work was completed on time it remained way too cold in work to which I was hoping home would be warmer. With escaping work it was already completely dark and very cold out honestly it was wearing me down big time to the point I think I will be unwell by tomorrow. Before going home I went to the shops for toiletries and some recommended medicine even with it being so cold I thought it was best to get what I needed now before the madness of late Christmas shoppers hit the aisles. Once I got home it was too late to get started trying to get a few chores done. As for the quick work-outs I have finished the 2 weeks extra rest and so hope to try and get one done after missing 24 days. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I checked in with my father, then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 unfortunately Steem continued to stick to the dreaded middle ground, but at least the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 week 1 as started. So students pick your lessons and complete the homework tasks to earn Steem. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
