Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 18/7/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

July 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. Likely you have witnessed some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate this season. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, and so what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors💰. Last night I went to sleep nicely before the usual late hour, this was mostly due to needing to catch up with sleep after such a early morning work shift but not only that today will be a very hectic day at work so I need all the energy I can get. When I did try to sleep there was a few problems, mostly the cats seemed very unsettled last night, likely due to the slightly warmer weather. But it wasn't just the cats as also my mind needed to settle so I could fall asleep. When I did fall asleep I woke-up about 1 hour to my scheduled alarm, not sure why but I tried with little luck going back to sleep. The alarm was set for later than usual to make sure I got enough rest for this horrible work day ahead, I rested for a little longer past the alarm before starting the day. As for the weather this morning like yesterday it finally broke the continuous mostly cloudy, miserable looking mornings, instead this time it was actually sunny but yesterday was more and you could feel the temperature was rising. I must say I'm surprised by this lack of change lately as usually the weather is very dynamic, but I admit that I'm loving the stability since it's staying mostly pleasant. Temperature wise it still felt cooler but like yesterday there was a increase brewing, thankfully even during the "night's" it's not been cold. Since I had to be in work only later I could get some chores done and some of the things for my father. One thing I definitely wanted to get done the other day was to see if I could get a decent photocopy of my pass from the photocopier machine. Well that didn't go well... I spent most of that morning trying all sorts of things to get the dam printer 😡 to work properly to no avail! It was soon obvious that instead of trying anymore tests being recommended to me by the manufactures "as these were costing me money" that it would be actually cheaper for me to just purchase a new one. There are also some letters that my father needs me to print the plan is to buy a new printer but I'm still a little sort on 💰 cash for that and so was hoping to cover the rest with Steem, but for whatever reason the amount needed to make a trade is now hiked at over 500 Steem😡! I wonder why this would be the case now? Sure it's happened before and thankfully they lowered it but why did they increased it again😠 and so much. It's such bad timing for me as I need these documents printed quickly and so I will likely have to pay a business to do this for me until I can get hold of a printer. Unfortunately the next few working days I finish too late for a business to do this for me however I might have to make my way down there tomorrow on my day off to get this done argh😠. When my free time was up I went for a quick but filling breakfast as I was going to need a lot of energy today, I then got changed and ready for work. On the way I began to worry that my friend yesterday was right about it turning into a really hot day, it seemed to be the case as I got closer to work. That's really not what I wanted for this particular day. Arriving to work nothing seemed unusual but I started preparing for everything I would have to get done today even before I would start getting paid. When I did start getting paid I went quickly to print out all the paper work I would need, walking to my bosses office to get the rest of the paper work I asked if the extra work was ready to go? My boss said yes that he had received a notification but that he had not yet seen the guy come round. Guess the was my queue to get moving I left my boss to find the guy, but it seems in the end this was false my boss must of been confused as the guy had not arrived in work yet. This was good for me as it gave me time to get more paper work done and get familiar with it again. Looking over the staff I was very happy with the extra work to complete today it was not too much, the guy eventually arrived and we got on with it. My biggest regret today was to ask the other guy to take some particular things back with him to which to do that job he took ages. I wish he told me how long it was going to take him as I would of told him not to bother. That really messed me up and delayed me from setting the rest of the work for our team. Speaking of the team they done such a fantastic job today that I couldn't believe it, thanks to them it was only towards the end that I could finally relax but honestly the whole day was so hectic even without it being a lot to get done. I feel bad as initially I thought the team given to me was going to let me down but instead they were wonderful and worked so hard. In the end I was destroyed but not a single mistake had been made even the superior nearly fell on the floor with disbelief and so I hope that means we all done a good job today. In a previous shift I did end up seeing the guy who was suppose to be helping us this week with these shifts I'm doing, I asked him why he was not helping? He said age, saying he felt too old now for the job, he mention about a lack of support which I agree on, and lastly he said the paper work was not easy. Those are all things I told him when he complained about my lack of support towards him, I hope he now understands that I never lied to him about the cons of the job. I was likely the only one telling him the truth, and I'm also honest that I don't want to be doing this job for the week while both our usual colleagues are taking their time off. I don't mind that they get their rightly owed time off from work but I'm not happy that I have to be the one who covers some of it. This happened because the superiors let them both take their holidays at the same time "by accident" as another colleague suddenly left. But this was a few months back and so they had more than enough time to prepare for this but didn't 🤷‍♂️😠!?. Well I was very happy to get out of work as I was simply exhausted from all that, it was slightly cooler outside which was nice but getting home it was just as hot. I paid off some bills while getting dinner ready and after that I finally went to get some rest. As for Steemit.com 📊 there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I still believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating better content but rather on how the site and the token is valued. Again not by it's content but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Work hard, try to hold it together, sometimes we can't and that's ok too.. Let yourself know this first off. After that "Pace" yourself, even in the mist of the storm you can make it. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN or a download site, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
