Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 16/10/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Oct 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" on June 4th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? Well 30k would be a good mark, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to clearing out some storage so that I can meet with friends online when next possible. When I did try to sleep there wasn't any difficulty, infact I fell asleep really fast, I was just so tired from work, but it helps now that I have moved back into my room. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, the alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this is to try and help me improve my sleeping routine. Finally after like a week of waking up 2 hours prior to my alarm I was able to sleep until I had to actually wake-up. Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm as I'm still tired, because usually I'm not going to sleep early enough and this morning it was the same. For the weather this morning it continued being dark, cloudy and miserable but it's slightly better compared to yesterday. Temperature wise it was being mostly comfortable. I rested for much longer than usual this morning, I was annoyed by this as work yesterday was not as intense so I didn't expect to feel this tired, however I think it's the cooler temperature that is making this happen. The late start this morning was not a problem as I had work only later, like this it's giving me the chance to still get at least some chores done. But waking-up so late is causing me problems, I also spent some time this morning continuing the clear-up of more storage from what I was doing last night. And I really need to working right now to start earning some much needed money to combat all the costs of birthdays, events and some of the costs from having my father over. I'm annoyed it's all happening in October as per usual but at least I'm working today when I had been originally my day off. So I got on with a few chores some I was completing still from last night, but I done what I could, and with my free time up I had a quick small breakfast, got my bag set for work, changed and left. On the way to work I took the rubbish with me to dispose, hopefully that will be the last of it for a few days. Like yesterday I was surprised to see that it was getting warmer out, even without much of a improvement from the general weather. When I got to work yesterday I was shocked to see that the builders had already placed up walls that were not originally there. I'm actually really pleased with the walls as it gives us all some more privacy in my opinion. However I think certain spaces have been made a little too small and I feel it might be enough to impact the business. And so today I was wondering what else would I see majorly changed. Thankfully not much but a lot of wiring was being done. My reason for coming in today was to deal with the extra work and I was shocked when a colleague told me that the specific work for our team was super easy. I of course had to see the stats for myself and was floored by how easy it would be to have it completed, but was also annoyed that I might of just wasted my time coming to work. To combat wasting my efforts we decided to take things easy as a team, the superior seems to have maybe picked-up on this later but we still had it was all under control. The superior was worried by our lack of progress because the other teams still had much to get done but we had of course taken that into consideration. At the end of the day every team completed their work and we was able to work and breathe without killing ourselves for no reason. I was glad to see and still kind of expected to not be dealing with any financial stuff this shift, likely this won't happen yet for the next few weeks and if I'm really lucky until next year. Regardless I'm happy to have one more shift on my floor. On the way home it had already turned dark and rainy, but I think it was even warmer out compared to earlier which is great for what we usually get this time of the year. When I got home I was already too late to get started with any chores. As for the quick work-outs it's now been 18 missed days, but now that my father as left I hope to start them again soon. Lastly I started to prepared dinner, checked to see if my father as sent anything and then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 Week 6 of Season 20 for the Steemit Engagement Challenge begins with a increased number of teaching teams and challenges. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
