Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 15/12/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Dec 2024-Bitcoin reached over "102.000" on December 5th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to watching videos on a guy who is on a much higher level of understanding the mechanics of games. When I did try to sleep there wasn't any difficulty, this was surprising due to stress. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, this is what I want. Most mornings I'm resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. But for now I'm taking all the rest I can on days that allow me to do this in hopes of not catching any flu. Everybody around me is unwell, I'm doing this for around 2 weeks and I'm now on day 7. For the weather this morning it was slightly light, mostly cloudy, not raining, temperature wise it was too cold. It was a late start to the day but this was mostly on purpose as I will be taking up all the rest I can on the days which allow me to do this for maybe early 2 weeks total. Thankfully the late start was not much of a problem as I only had work later in the day and so this was a opportunity to get chores and some other things done. Well that's not exactly the case I guess due to waking up late and time still being relatively limited before work. But it's better than getting nothing done and I guess it will be like this until these 2 weeks of rest are over. I looked into a few more details on venues for New Years Eve, for now I'm waiting on confirmation from some friends. I'm waiting on information on seating from the friend who will give us the discount, I need information from work about what my schedule will be for the day, and exactly how to get there. Still due to a friends discount on the place it seems like it might be a great deal. Another task this morning was setting the laundry in hope that by the time I arrive back from work this will be ready to start drying. I done what I could, and with my free time I ate a snack for breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work I took with me some rubbish to dispose, it was very cold and the sun was trying to make it a nice day. When I got to work I must admit I didn't expect there to be extra work, but apparently this was the case. I noticed that literally we had so much staff in today which I don't think was necessary. The extra work while not a lot for the staff we had in it was however very difficult to deal with. One of my colleagues made sure that my only focus was the extra work while this is good it also means I can't escape when it get's difficult like it is on this shift. Still it's silly that the superiors can't be as smart however I admit I wasn't placed today to be solely on extra. Regardless it was amazing that we had everything completed with still 1 hour left, some staff went straight home. With escaping work one of the girls noticed the beautiful sunset, I thought I would be smarter than her and wait until I'm further down the road to capture it. But I was wrong now even 5 minutes later it was already too dark and the clouds had taken over. I was going to do some quick shopping but the shops were already closed. Once I got home I quickly got started with a few chores if I had any chance of meeting with friends online, unfortunately a headache was starting to brew. Still that didn't stop me from tying after drinking a lot of water, and this worked great enough to meet with friends online. Half of them showed up today and progress was slow but this was on purpose and will help us later. As for the quick work-outs they will likely have to wait until I'm done with recovery, but I last done one 21 days ago and so I hope to get one done soon. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I checked in with my father, then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 will be starting in mid December, but the application process in now live. Teams can now just be one person! But you can include one assistant to help you with marking assignment posts which could be very useful to have and include in your team for saving time. Our TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
