Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 12/12/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Dec 2024-Bitcoin reached over "102.000" on December 5th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? Well 30k would be a good mark, but likely won't fall that low, so how about 40k? We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. Sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to some video watching. When I did try to sleep there wasn't any difficulty, this was a little surprising considering all the rest I had for the day, I just thought I might not be tired enough to sleep. I woke-up 2 hours to my scheduled alarm, not sure why, but tried going back to sleep with some luck. Normally the problem as been recently the heating getting too hot around a certain time in the morning and I don't understand why. The annoying thing is it soon after gets very cold again😡! Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was dark, mostly cloudy, miserable looking but not raining. Temperature wise it was just about comfortable but this is likely thanks too the heating. It was a late start to the day mostly on purpose as I will be taking up all the rest I can on the days which allow me to do this for maybe almost 2 weeks. Thankfully this was not much of a problem as I only had work later in the day so this was a opportunity to get chores and some other things done. Well actually not so much because of the late start but it's still better than getting nothing done. I continue slowly organising my over 1 year supply of old emails, but to make this task more bearable I can only do this it now seems when I'm off from work, and likely won't be able to do much of it until I'm done resting for my 2 weeks. I looked into a few more things on venues for New Years Eve, one I find funny strangely offers a "New Years Party" that won't actually be on new years night, still you have to pay prices as if it was still on New Years Eve 🤷‍♂️.. Well No Thanks! The other is further away and I'm just trying to understand all the logistics for everybody, but due to a friends discount it seems like it might be a great deal. I done what I could, and with my free time up I ate breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it wasn't very cold, it also seems like someone as removed our broken lamp post, well either thief's or the road maintenance guy. Regardless a good thing to see the lamp post removed as the odd position with anymore strong winds could of indeed made it dangerous. When I got to work I really wasn't looking forward to being in charge of the extra work for this shift, but you know what it really depended on just how much there was to deal with. Someone already had the system up and running so it was easy for me to check the details. And I was very happy with what I was seeing the extra work looked like there wasn't much to deal with. I now understand to look at the brief for a rough time on when the extra work will be ready and I was glad to see I still had time to organise paper work. While I had most of my stuff together I noticed the guy for the extra work was already waiting on me, this was annoying because he was ready too early so I had to rush the paper work. Another thing I noticed is I was left with a ton of crap to deal with by the other guy who normally works the week and I was not happy. If it was not for all the crap he left for me to deal with today things would of all been set earlier. But it was ok I guess because I knew I still had good time and I was lucky the guy I was working with this shift was a good guy. I also had my boss come down to help me which was good and he also seemed pleased with all the crap I sorted out that was left for me. I'm glad because dealing with all that was a lot of work. For getting the extra work completed I had a good team and so had no doubts it would get completed, I was not wrong and was even able to leave earlier. There was still a lot of talk about the staff night out from work. I remember being there 2nd and eventually slowly my group of people had arrived after I had already jumped in with another group having their work party. And I can honestly say that the rest of the night was a very pleasant fun experience that I had not had in a while. I put a lot of the younger ones to shame as I was very comfortable in the venue as I had visited it many times before. But not only that some of the younger guys were shy first timers to such places, so I understand that. Once it was all over at the venue we was in we still went to another club, danced some more in there before finally going home. With escaping work a little earlier it was still expected that it was already pitch black out, but at least the weather was relatively pleasant to be out in and so I took my time enjoying the fresh air to de-stress. Once I got home it was already too late for starting with any chores. As for the quick work-outs they will likely have to wait until I'm done with recovery, but I last done one 18 days ago and so I hope to get one done soon. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I checked in with my father, then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 will be starting in mid December, but the application process in now live. Teams can now just be one person! But you can include one assistant to help you with marking assignment posts which could be very useful to have and include in your team for saving time. Our TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. But I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. Regardless I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional. If you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
