Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 1/6/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 1/6/2023.

May 2023 Sweden became the winners of the Eurovision song contest and a new King had he's coronation. The government says it's not a matter of if.. but when.. they will roll out their own digital currency. As for Steem we previously had a big fall that took it down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem for our main goal this year. In 2023 what we are aiming for is to finally reach Orca or in other words this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power, this as so far been a 6 year project. Also if you want Steem to be a success or just looking to earn more you should vote mostly on those who do not power down. Powering down lowers the value of Steem, meaning it lowers the value of your investment or the Steem that you earn from posting. My account is a example as one of the very few on here who is not powering down rewards. I also buy into Steem often, your votes encourage me to keep on buying even more so keep them coming as buying also helps rise the price of Steem. By voting on these posts we try to protect and raise the price of Steem, we also plan to use this to buy even more when the price goes up. During the bitcoin downwave from 60k it also sadly took down the value of SBD's, however SBD's have done a excellent job at holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is that SBD's will once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again. As for Steemit the Team is trying something different as they experiment with smaller curation teams, around 4 or 5 people per team. This means there is less room for curator positions and so competition to apply was tougher, however it's said that the rewards will be greater. Tron as been appearing correctly in our wallets, however the TRX rewards are distributed less often, it can take 2 or 3 days sometimes even longer but at least we are getting them. The cost of living is spiralling upwards the reasoning said for all these high prices is the war in the Ukraine, guess we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history, they attack, strike up fear, call-out threats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

Last night I went to sleep just slightly past the usual late hour, this was mostly because I was giving the most recent game it's last chance to get my interest, but in the end it failed. I also had a few bits of content that I could only finish at a certain time. I slept well all night as I was so exhausted not only from the weekend of events but also returning to work as on my first day I was greeted with having to stay for a few hours longer. This continued with the following day having to return to work for the early morning and then another day with staying longer, on the day there was also more work to deal with than usual. This morning I didn't wake-up before my alarm, which in one way doesn't surprise me as I was so tired still, but I'm glad of course that I didn't wake-up before hand. I rested for longer past the alarm as I really needed the extra rest but this was not by much. So it was a little tough to get started today but not by much, this morning was very cloudy again, however I didn't feel cold unlike the past 3 days. Seems we are going a bit backwards lately but for now I don't mind as I'm still recovering from this cold and think the strong heat would make it worse. Throat was feeling about the same again this morning which is worse compared to from 2 days ago, probably got worse due to the lack of rest from the past few days. I started with doing some chores, I also wanted to make a start on looking up if there are any available travel plans to see my father this year, lastly I went on Steemit before heading out. Once my free time was up I went for a quick breakfast before changing and then heading out for work. As I made my way to work it was much better out compared to yesterday and by the time I left it started to get warmer, there was still that annoying wind about but less. When I got to work I was doing the usual but before I could do much I was praised for my work yesterday and could even pick a sweet treat, while I don't care much for praise usually it's just nice that since the jerk left "out previous boss" to be noticed as someone who contributes. It's not praise that I want, I guess it's just to be recognized that I'm actually here doing a job. My boss also spoke to me about the good work and also informed me that today there was not much to get done, he made it sound like I would be disappointed but instead it's exactly what I hoped for after yesterday. Regardless I'm glad of this because I did actually have a few things I needed to get done for another superior so it's not actually like I had nothing extra to get done. I got everything that I wanted done personally and then left work. See the other day I noticed I was assigned some jobs that I don't usually get as they wanted me specifically to do them. This bothered me and so I wanted to get them done, I completed some already but wanted to get more of it completed today. I really began to wonder how they want me to get all this done with all the staying behind to do other things, well the superior who wrote them as tasks wasn't exactly clear so if it's not good enough I have some defence already prepared. So since I had to stay behind in work the past few days is why I didn't get the opportunity yet to look up travel plans to see my father however the superior was nice enough to say that if it wasn't for me they would of been screwed to get everything completed. But I was honestly too exhausted from the whole thing when I left. So much so that on my way home I pumped into a friend I had not seen since school, I honestly couldn't believe it! But I was so tired that after chatting for a while I excused myself and forgot to get a contact from him. Well to be honest I didn't know him that super well and I remember he started hanging out with another group more and more often, at some point it seemed like he was trying to avoid ours. Never really uncovered why exactly and I think that's why I didn't push harder for a contact, I spoke to a friend later about seeing him and I think he understood why I didn't manage to get he's contact. Still it was so wonderful too see him after all these years he seemed to be doing very well for himself and if I do see him again I probably will try and contact him. Well when I left work today it was much warmer which I was glad about and as I made my way home I did keep an eye out for my friend again but the chances of ever seeing him again are very slim. When I got home my room was very warm I hope this keeps for the night. The other evening while talking with my father we came to the conclusion that in order to get some things sorted I needed to go and see him soon and so I'm going to have to start working on getting that organised which is a bit of a drag.
