New Minnow Booster Day Rules Trial Run!
We are testing today the new run of Minnow Booster Day!
All Casters over the FVL will still be skipped by those who are fractionally voting, in addition, those with over 20 Shadow Rank would also be skipped to ensure the real minnows in the pool can get a boost.
This will help ensure ALL members in our pool earn fairly EVERY week, regardless of there rank! IF you are a good steemian you will earn more with this new system in place!
We will be monitoring and collecting all the data from this trial run and make any needed tweaks necessary as we go forward based on what we collect and what you all report back to us!
Thanks again to everyone who is part of this community! Without each and every one of you, none of this would be possible! All the feedback you can provide is always taken into consideration and used to help navigate this ship through the steemy waters!
A common problem seems to be people thinking they have received no votes from the pool even if they have got many. This seems to happen even for a few people that have been around a while already.
So maybe something on the shadow caster page could show:
[Total Votes Received]
(today)(last 7 days)(last 30 days)(all time)
^each containing the number of votes for that time period.
Tracking what post those votes hit is already possible.
I don't know how implementation would go on this for keeping track of all that, but something similar to it could also work, like any approximation of the last few days, tallied into a prominent display of total votes received may reduce one of the most common confusions people seem to have. Just a random idea today :)
Very good idea, added to our list! Yes all these stats are already stored and easily able to be displayed. We plan to add that in for the next release!
We store locally (and it is all on the blockchain) every last vote generated, the author, the timestamp and the caster.

I don't understand why I haven't been receiving votes from @shadowbot. You can check my blog. I hope this arrangement will work. As someone said on this platform we all need the votes.

Also, the expected reward displayed on shadowbot does not correspong with the expected payout displayed at the bottom of my posts (same posts).
Any ideas as to why this is?
That is our goal, we learn and earn together!
We calculate the payouts not in USD but in VESTs to SBD. USD calculations will always be difficult to calculate therefor we chose to avoid them.

But the no-upvote issue? If noticed this is the case since a week (for many of my posts). Is it a lag issue or am I amybe doing something wrong?
Balancing and re-balancing. We operate on a week by week basis not a day by day. If we detect you are unfairly missing out your Shadow Rank is bumped up and we will even manually give you (from our own account) some up votes just to make everything fair! The best thing you can do for all of us is continue to report every issue you have and help us identify the best path(s) to get through them. Without great steemians like you, we could not make this possible!

=D you are starting to understand how the system works. It is granted a little complex, but it is designed to balance and make things fair. As your Shadow Rank increases, the weight your posts get will go up, as well as the priority in the pool. I think we were talking about different things yesterdyay @shadowbot. What I meant was that the difference between what my post displays and what shadowbot displays as being my expected reward is not the difference in the formula but a giant lag (or bug, I dunno). I'll show you with imgs. Check the highlighted sums to see what I mean. Hope you can tell me why this is.
Yes there was a delay in the rewards software, it should be fixed now, we apologize for the delay. Nothing critical was effected by this delay.

This update is really feeding them well, just 3 hours in and already 3 Shadow Rank Casters are getting votes!
Nice, I hope it encourages more people to use shadowbot. I've been directing real life friends to use shadowbot, I think this will help to show them just how great shadowbot can be.

If you pull all of your worth out and cash it in then how is that working together? I get pulling some out but you should really get your sp up so it helps other people in the pool. This was the first thing I saw when looking at your account. You have 43.585 STEEM and powering down?
