I am sitting here hoping the payouts we see is solid and what the HF19 was intended to be. Kind of pinching myself here to not believe the reality of this yet lol but I am in shock and in high hopes that Steemit just did us good. I could totally use this boost here for my dad's health issues. Anyone know the logistics of HF19 and if what we see is straight up?

Ooh I'm sorry to hear that dude. I hope the steem can help your dad! So how does the voting power work? You said yours is down to 30%, so does that mean you can deplete your voting power for the day or something?
What I gather is it now takes 5% of voting power now a vote, hence the increases you see after this HF19 going into effect but if you let it chill and don't vote for a day or so it will be replenished. Basically you get about 10 votes a day from what I read
Oh. Haha I've been upvoting friends' stuff like crazy. That makes sense as to why the upvote I gave you earlier was worth $2.00 and the most recent ones are like $0.02. So one big upvote per day. Crazy
I would just try to hold back and either give it all and wait another day or do it now and then. That is how they limit us so makes sense, give good paydays but only so much of them

You maybe worth more, your voting power maybe even low. If you check this page, look in the box on the left for the VOTING POWER percentage, that will reasonably tell you how much you have and if its low your probably going to see way higher payouts for your votes when it nears 100%

I'm sure I'm still low (the site says it's down for maintenance when I click the link), I'm still trying to figure it all out. I've been sticking all of my cents into savings and steem power though, so I hope that helps boost me some.
They maybe updating that site too due to the fork, hmmmm...just hope this sticks but I worry about a mass sell off of Steem today, that could just drive the price down but hopefully everyone protects this update by being slow about banking out

Just look for the VOTING POWER percentage, its in the box on the left side of that site. That gives you a rough idea of how much voting power you have left. What I believe is one vote now takes away 5%

Really appreciate it, hey a few bucks helps...not trying to get rich off of it, just enough at the moment to cover that $1000 fridge they put on credit, there is no way they can afford an extra $130 a month so trying at the very least to pay that off for them immediately or come first bill. I think from there I will be able to cover some help with my growing income here, hopefully lol...hate to see that all the sudden stop but HF19 seems to have done the trick.
