HardFork is Here! I just deposited and Powered Up 800 Steem from Poloniex!
I've been checking my wallet to see if it showed 13 weeks yet and it finally did, so I transferred the Steem I was holding on Poloniex.
Because of the rising price of Steem I noticed my account was worth $1,000 and then the next day $1,100 even though I just made a few Steem from SteemSports and some mildly successful short form posts.
As you can verify by looking at my wallet, I just powered up 800 more Steem that I transferred from Poloniex just now and put my Steemit wallet at over 6,000 Steem. Currently worth $1269.81. That's USD! Thank you Steemit!

As promised, we have our update. I appreciate the opportunity we had to give our input as a community. I am incredibly happy the way it has turned out and proud to continue to be a part of this awesome experience.
As you can see from the Steem up there this post is a 100% power up post of course. Why wouldn't I now that it's only stored for 3 months. I will now hold all my steem as Steem Power and continue to Power Up for the foreseeable future.
I am now holding just a very small amount of Steem and SBD just to be able to use for things like I talked about in this post
As some of you know my plan is to Steemit up full time and travel and trade for a living. I got killed today making some bad calls on Forex trading as I am learning, but Steem keeps going up so my Poloniex and Steemit wallet value keep increasing. Thank you Steemit - Dan, Ned and company!

I am also a 100% steem power up , for some time now ! And I will continue to do so ! It is my investment , to build my little house on my property so I can retire early ! Lol ! The sooner the better ! Steem On ! ♨👍♨

Right now I've been powering up all my posts unless it's used to help power up someone else's post. I don't even want to look at the estimated value because it's such a pretty number and I could definitely use the funds but Steemit is my investment account. It's the only one I can afford right now and I'm building it up with sweat equity and creativity. LOL Hopefully the value keeps rising. The 13 week payout still makes me very nervous. I would hate to see a pump and dump.
I think we will see some dumping, lol. but I think it's a good plan myself. I know for me it makes powering up more desirable so I figure there has to be a certain amount of people that see it the same way. I know some investors will have to take a second look at it now.
Just a quick advice, if you want to make money trading you need a strategy where you can make money both when the price rise and when the price drops. If you ain't prepared for both scenario you gonna get rekt.
Yeah, of course. I actually lost money on a short position today. I'm really learning how fast a mistake can add up at 200x leverage! lol. Not knowing how to make money when the market goes down had nothing to do with it though
