Questions On Voting Power
Sometimes I really don't know how does voting power works. I have waited for two days just to make my voting power at 100%. Thinking that after two days, I am ready again to participate in curation or give an upvotes with value to those articles worth to commend, I once again back here in steemit but only to find out that every posts or comments that I have upvoted has no value given.
Are things changing here in site? Before whenever my voting power was at 100%, consider at the same SP (Steem Power) I have, I noticed that I can upvote or curate atleast 10 posts a day. And after that my voting power will decrease and could no longer give a value to any succeeding posts/comments that I will upvote.
I'am aware that the more SP you have, the more VP influence you have, but previously, just what I have said earlier, even my SP is the same as now and before, I can still give value to my upvotes, but now it's gone. It's totally different now. It really confuses me especially sometimes I noticed too that even my VP is below 100%, it can still give an upvote or curate to some posts, then when you try to upvote the next one, there's no value. And when you try again to upvote another new one, sometimes there's value sometimes there's not. It seems like now that voting power gives at random interval. Is it me who only noticed it? I really don't know.
Does 100% voting power has no bearing now in curation even it is already 100% fully recharged? Do they raised the standard for SP to have your voting power to have value? Do the current cryptocurrency trading value has a direct effect on it? Is it working just as the same before in your end? Do I missed a thing in understanding how it works? Have you experienced as the same as what I did? Questions, questions, questions, these are all I have in mind about our Voting Power Value now.

I have! When I started out my vote was worth 0.01 and after a while it was 0.00 even at 100%. It took me some time but I have learned from other people it has to do with the value of steem. And then to be precise the value of the last three days.
I also have noticed that their is some value behind the 0.00. For example 0.005. I have noticed that sometimes my 0.00 vote added to another 0.00 vote gives 0.01. Sometimes it even takes three or more to teach 0.01.
I have no answers for you more specific but I hope this will help or give a clue about whats happening.

Your steem power is very less in wallet. You should purchase steem power
Yes I'am aware of that but just what I have written, even at the same sp I have just like before , I couldn't give now a value for an upvote now. Before even at the same SP I can give for atleast 10 posts.
Your voting power has a lot to do with the price of steem that calibrate every 3 and half days.
Example: steem=$5 your voting power is 5 times stronger for upvoting and curating, etc...
steem=$2 your voting power....
It is all about the value. It is way lower if you are a minnow. At least be a dolphin you will see a real value going forward.

But how can you explain this, right before I read your comment I went to someone who upvoted my post, then I upvoted her post too, I was surprised to see that my upvote add another value even at less than 90%, but before that before I written this post I engaged to some regular followers/followings at 100% voting power but there's no value in my upvote in them?

It is because the value of steem fluctuates. The value of steem is lower right now, so it makes our voting value decrease. You can use this calculator to see how much your vote would be worth based on your steem power in your wallet. https://www.steemnow.com/upvotecalc.html
The one person who commented on buying steem power is right, the more steem power you have in your wallet will increase the value of your votes. However, as the market goes back up and steem's value increases, your vote will be worth more again.

I think that is the reason. My vote is worth less when the value of cryptocurrency is down and its pretty low at the moment.
Hmmm, you're the 3rd one who said that, so I must agree with all you guys. I don't like to see myself giving value to one, then when it comes to the next one, there's none. It somewhat not in our control that our upvote has value or not.
Yeah, we have no control over our value. I think at our point in all of this, it is most important to develop a community of people who support each other as best we can. The rest will come in time as we all grow together. :)

Parang ang nangyari , habang bumaba value ni sbd/steem, nagraise sila ng standard kung kelan anong SP ang may value even at .01 lang.
Need mg power up pra magkaroon ng value or mgkaroon ng supportive authors pra mka earn khit ppano.
I've had those questions too but as commented above it's based on the value of steem. Sa dami ng pag upvote ko di ko na napapataas sa 100%. Sali lang ng sali sa mga contests para yun earnings magamit pang power up.
Yup hirap magpataas pag madaming upvote isang araw lalo pat lower pa SP natin. I prefer contests yung less preparation, halimbawa comment ka lang sa contest without having to prepare link of your post, tapos may chance ka ng mag earn ng upvote. Contest sa pagcomment ang masaya para sa akin hehe
