Free for All: Battle of the Week #22! The biggest NINE non-English communities on Steemit! Statistics in superhero style!
WELCOME!
This is Free for All: Battle of the Week #22!
Yes, I know, this name is still awesome.
Steemit has a list of most trending tags. Among them there are now nine tags linked to non-English communities and in this post I will compare those nine languages to each other.
This post is all about week 22 of 2017: 29th May - 4th June.
And what about those nine languages? Let me show you:
And most important thing! You won’t find it anywhere else! I’m not counting all posts in tag - I’m talking only about posts in given language and throwing all others away. It’s the most accurate post!
From this week there are no language tags used as tags for this post!
Those are THE rules of this battle.
Only posts in given languages:
- no summary posts with only names or links in given language,
- no photo posts when there are no words in given language in title or in visible content (not counting markdown image descriptions),
- no posts written in English with one/two words in given language.
This battle is divided into rounds. There are 11 of them. In every round languages will be placed in order from the best to the worst. First place in round gets 9 points, second 8 points, third 7 points down to 1 point for 9th place. After all rounds I will give you the results and the big WINNER (and the biggest looser).
Rounds
- round 1: all language posts (not only those within language tag),
- round 2: all authors of language posts (not only those within language tag),
- round 3: percent of language posts (from all language posts) in language tag,
- round 4: percent of language posts (from all posts within tag) in language tag,
- round 5: highest payout in language tag,
- round 6: average payout per author in language,
- round 7: average payout per language post,
- round 8: most votes in language post,
- round 9: average votes per language post,
- round 10: most comments in language post,
- round 11: average comments per language post.
Let’s go!
All language posts (not only those within language tag)
All authors of language posts (not only those within language tag)

Some stats are pretty misleading when you look average, because Turkish users can't even get 1$ per post except 2-3 people getting all the money. That's why a lot of Turkish users (15 users from our group) stopped using this platform.
But that's what average means. All payouts / all posts or authors.
Yes, that's why regular average hide reality and why we need bell curve to see the facts. :)
nice analysis, i like the comic style :))
in next one Turkey will definelty be second :D
