Free for All: Battle of the Week #21! The biggest NINE non-English communities on Steemit! Statistics in superhero style!
WELCOME!
This is Free for All: Battle of the Week #21!
Yes, I know, this name is still awesome.
Steemit has a list of most popular trending tags. Among them there are now nine (not five like in Battle 20) tags linked to non-English communities and in this post I will compare those nine languages to each other.
This post is all about week 21 of 2017: 22nd - 28th May.
And what about those five nine languages? Let me show you:
And most important thing! You won’t find it anywhere else! I’m not counting all posts in tag - I’m talking only about posts in given language and throwing all others away. It’s the most accurate post!
Those are THE rules of this battle.
Only posts in given languages:
- no summary posts with only names or links in given language,
- no photo posts when there are no words in given language in title or in visible content (not counting markdown image descriptions),
- no posts written in English with one/two words in given language.
This battle is divided into rounds. There are 11 of them. In every round languages will be placed in order from the best to the worst. First place in round gets 9 points, second 8 points, third 7 points down to 1 point for 9th place. After all rounds I will give you the results and the big WINNER (and the biggest looser).
Rounds
- round 1: all language posts (not only those within language tag),
- round 2: all authors of language posts (not only those within language tag),
- round 3: percent of language posts (from all language posts) in language tag,
- round 4: percent of language posts (from all posts within tag) in language tag,
- round 5: highest payout in language tag,
- round 6: average payout per author in language,
- round 7: average payout per language post,
- round 8: most votes in language post,
- round 9: average votes per language post,
- round 10: most comments in language post,
- round 11: average comments per language post.
Let’s go!
All language posts (not only those within language tag)
All authors of language posts (not only those within language tag)
Percent of language posts (from all language posts) in language tag
Percent of language posts (from all posts within tag) in language tag
Highest payout in language
Average payout per author in language

Most votes in language post

Finally it’s time to show you the results. And the winner of this BATTLE.
But first let’s look at points in each round.

Korea for the win!
Also, STEEM-Pocalypse Season 3 is about to end, and I was wondering if I could ask a favor. Do you think you and @kambrysia could give me a few sentences about how excellent it was to win hundreds of dollars just by playing a game on steemit? I was going to feature the previous winners in a post one this season is done. Also, do you have a photo of you two that I could use for that?
I'm going to write something about Steem-Pocalypse. Maybe using statistics :)
Cool, thank you!

I saw your post well.
The Korean community is stronger than any other community.
The reason is that they lead to each other's heart to help each other.
Thank you for your post.
upvoted & follow & resteem!
Yes, I already often noticed that the Korean community is great. But we (Germans) are close behind. Congratulation to Korea. The last diveded land in the world.
Nice work, Round 8 (Number of Votes) you can skip due to such curation clusters like Steem Trail.
And i'm just sitting here like, mmm, Dutch, anyone? hellowww?
@skytrex, Yep me! But we Dutchies just talk English all the time.
Yes we must! :P
Statistics, statistics lovely statistics. What a excellent job. I'm impressed.
