STEEMIT DAY OUT, A TIME WITH CORPS MEMBERS IN OYIGBO

Hi, fellow steemians. It was a nice time today with corps members in Oyigbo, Rivers state, Nigeria. After introducing Steemit to them, some questions pop up. Follow me as I give detail of my lectures today.
Introduction
Steemit is a global internet platform that offers the services of a social media and a block chain. As a social media, you can make friends, catch fun, follow people and get followed by others. There's no registration fees,as joining Steemit is free of charge.
As a block chain, Steemit is the only social media that can generate cryptocurrencies called steem and steem dollars. These can be converted to any type of cryptocurrency by using block trades.
How To Join Steemit.
All you need is your valid email address, working phone number and internet access. After registration, a verification code will be sent to your phone for number verification. After you must have verified your number, a verification mail is sent to your mail box for email verification. You click on the link on the mail and your account is verified. When this is done, you need to wait for an approval mail to join the platform.
On Receiving Approval mail
Please click on the link in the mail and generate your password. Please note that your Steemit password is not retrievable, so keep it secured. You can now become part of the Steemit family as you login with your username and password.
Posting And Rewards
In Steemit, you can post a variety of original contents. Please note that copy and paste or plagiarism is not allowed. So to avoid problems with cheetah and sanctions from steem cleaners, post original contents or sight the source of information gotten from others.
The rewards comes in steem power and steem dollars, for (50/50)% upvote or in steem for 100% steem vote.

Questions That Arose

Question1. How do I get followers?

Answer: This is simply done by voting, commenting on people's posts, making friends on Steemit chat and discord. Please don't beg people to vote, comment on your posts or follow you, because these attitudes are considered spam in Steemit. If you spam, you will be sanctioned. If you are a committed member, you can always have people that upvote, comment on your posts and follow you, just as you are doing for others.

Question2. How long does it take to get paid?

Answer: In Steemit, you get paid in seven days for every post.

Question3. How many posts can one post a day?
Answer: You can post 288 posts a day, that is you can post every five minutes. But it's not advisable to post much because in Steemit, only quality, educative and rich contents are welcome. Too many posts will make you post junks. Beware!

Question4. How do I get the money in naira?

Answer: As I mentioned in the introduction, you can convert your earning into other cryptocurrencies and sell at your convenience. In Nigeria, bitcoin can easily be sold in naira. After converting your steem dollars into bitcoin, you can sell online. Two reliable sites I have used before are nairaex.com and remitano.com. Here's how to convert your steem dollars into bitcoin:

a) go to your wallet an click on steem dollars. You will see 'sell', click on it and it will lead you to block trades.

b) in block trades,provide the cryptocurrency you are converting from, provide the amount of steem dollars you want to sell, provide your bitcoin wallet account and click on'get deposit address'. It will open a memo that you need to transfer your steem dollars to. Copy the memo, then go back to your Steemit wallet.

c) in your wallet, click on steem dollars and choose the option' transfer'. It will open a page to put ' blocktrades' where you see ' to', put the amount of SBD you are selling and the memo from block trades, then click on submit. Now you are done with your transaction and the bitcoin equivalent to the SBD you sent at that time will be sent to your bitcoin wallet.
