I really appreciate these hidden gems! I always feel like I'm rushing to catch up on the good content as it gets hidden in a flood of other stuff. It's also good to see people getting noticed. Perhaps you can sate my curiosity and inspire me a little (because I'm feeling like my content isn't getting feedback).
Do you seek them out? Do they seek you out? Do you rely on the suggestions of others?

May I offer a suggestion? I visit the gem picks almost daily, yet it is mind-numbing that they have so low rewards compared to the post listing them. That's not your fault, of course, and you do give more traffic to them as to get more upvotes, but I think you should examine a scheme where those who get ridiculously underpaid are funded by a percentage of the gem list rewards. I understand that currently SDs go to a featured author - so it may need some percentage tweaking to achieve that - or dedicate one out of X gem lists to split the rewards to all gems that took extremely low rewards. I think you'll figure out a way to do it - as you are doing with the featured authors.
Some whale votes are starting to head in their direction!!!!
Yesterday @berniesanders and others blessed our entire list with upvotes, maybe that will continue....
Public thanks to @berniesanders we do love him for his "upvote carpet bombing campaigns". Adds such a fun element to the platform!!!
Aside from that, a plan to spread things around even more, to featured authors is currently being implemented, so please watch this space.
