What is Steem-O-ween 2017? (Oct.29th)

Steem-O-ween is a community wide Steemit virtual Trick-or-Treat Fun Fest!!!!

Say what????
It is a 24 hour Party where minnows get to beg for upvotes, and whales get to pour tons and tons of candy fun on their faithful followers and brand new guests!!!

Okay....THAT is a raw over simplification....but it kinda covers the bones of it!

Really, I hope that it will be a day of selflessness, generosity, friendship, adventure, fun and positivity!!

Steemit has been facing a bunch of small, but annoying 'glitches' lately. I am sure some new minnows are wondering what's up. And I know some veterans are frustrated as well.

Can't we have a day where it's not about the $0.05 post orrrr the $50 post orrrrrrrrr the $500 post, but about the community coming together and showing love and support for each other. A day where Steemit can live out what the steem blockchain was built for!!

People have come to Steemit from all across the globe; from so many various backgrounds and experiences. Some came for money. Others for the experience, and still others for the education. But we ALL stayed for the community and interaction and fun.

Can we have one day where it's okay to have a post flop? Where it's okay to ask for an upvote. Where we can make a post and it doesn't HAVE to be the best looking one out there!

Can we have one day where NO ONE upvotes themselves, but SHARES all of their voting power with others!!!????

(I understand that can't be status quo. People have invested their own money. People live on the returns. People want their posts to hit trending. I get it. ***We are just asking FOR ONE DAY.)

Well we are THREE days away, and everyone doesn't know about it yet. We NEED to get the word out there!!
