Idea to burn more steem!

The promoted tab got me back into steemit. 

I was very exited about steemit when i first heard of it but after using it a bit and learning about the inflation rate i lost interest. i just think there is way to many coins being created every day. i felt like it was infinitely going to keep loosing value. Then i saw the promotion tab!

Burning Steem for advertisement is just genius. 

This got me thinking of other ways to burn steem. 

What if we use steem as a voting tool!

 I'm not a developer and have very little knowledge of how blockchains work but i was wondering if there is a way for users to create an account that they themselves cannot access (like the null account for the promotion feed) basically used to throw away tokens. 

So for example now that the elections are going on here in the US, An account for Donald trump And an account for Hillary Clinton can be created. Then users can send steem to either account and the account with more steem wins! Since nobody can access those accounts Those tokens are effectively deleted.
