You're using Steemit Voting Bots WRONG!!! STOP losing money now!! A Public Service Announcement by Non-Greedy Crypto Investor

Dear Steemian brothers and sisters,

Do you like to lose money?? Do you like negative returns??
Then do NOT make these mistakes on voting bots on Steem Bot Tracker!!
What do I mean by losing money? For example, if you bid 1 Steem valued at $4, and you get an upvote that's only $2 then you've lost money. It is then better if you had kept your 1 Steem as it is worth more than the upvote you received.

You can check some of my tutorials and tips on how to use SBT correctly below. But here are examples of when people are losing money on SBT!

Please, my brothers and sisters, pay attention to your bids! Most of the time it is hard to find a positive ROI bot because demand is so high, but it does occur.

Thank god someone has pointed this out but a couple of points.

  1. The clue is in the recommended max suggested bid column. It goes to 0.00 it means the ROI has become negative.
  2. If you like gambling, you can still turn it around if the price of SBD should happen to rise before payout.
Thanks again for pointing this out :-)

thanks @nathen007 for the max suggest bid! that's correct. i was using voting power x 0.75 to determine the max total bid before it turns negative. the max suggest bid does make it easier. #2 is definitely gambling lol

Youre welcome mate, and if you need a perfect example of how much you can lose, go look at this account and his wallet @johanalejo

oh no.... i reached out to john to warn him--just had to

Resteemed by @resteembot! Good Luck!
Curious? Read @resteembot's introduction post
Check out the great posts I already resteemed.

RESTEEMBOT IS FOR SALE
I COULD WRITE CODE FOR YOU

My advice is do not cheat. Produce quality content that people want to see instead of paying for likes. Even if you get some money you are not building a base of followers so you will never really grow your account. Write content people want to read and you will see the money come to you

Agreed! The voting bot is not a good long term strategy. Especially right now when most bids lead to negative ROI. Great content is free and positive ROI!

Hello every budy thank you bro for this information
Realy we like that some one of steemian Community give is always some information about because the majority of peoples doesn't know more yet about how steemit working
Thank you again and peace for you all.
Just follow @anarouz

Thank you. Glad I can help my fellow steemians

@jerrybanfield what are your thoughts on the voting bots not being profitable anymore? There’s more demand than voting power

@yabapmatt how do we get more voting bots to meet demand?

Thank you so much for this information! For those of us new to the platform the voting bots are a complete mystery....until now.

Np glad to help

Thank you for posting this. It's been driving me crazy how badly some people make bids. This one guy waited until the last minute and sent a $10 SBD vote on a bot that has only $24 SBD vote value. He lost $3 SBD himself and everyone else was also a loser including me 😢

Right! Some people are blindly placing bids without calculating the cost and it’s costing everyone

yup, many people just use them without checking the ROI, and even then, you cant take into account the people who jump in at the final few seconds!

This is a very important post.
Thank you for helping to level up those of us who are new to the vote bidding scene.
I hope some people learn, but i also hope the people who put the effort into making vote bots reap some rewards.

np. i hope there will be more bots to meet the demand. but as another steemian mentioned, in the end it's about posting quality contents

I stopped using voting bots too. 1st 2 days of bidding was fine until there are so many bidders that the upvotes are devided on way to may people.

yes you really have to wait until the bot is about to vote to get the most accurate info. so it does require some work on our part to make it successful. i recommend just hop on here and there to check the bots that are about to bid and if there's a chance there's one that's profitable then go for it. but never blindly bid on a bot and expect it to be profitable, like you said it'll get over bid and diluted in the end.

Yeah. Yesterday i bid on this voting bot. Waited till it become 2 MINS and I saw there is + ROI so i quickly make my bid. Got positive result even after curation. But its so rare to see voting bots having positive ROI so ull have to monitor them.
