~ Picture Poetry ~

A month ago I found this great post by @nissla. A kind of image-text-combination respectively “picture poetry” made of three images and a poem. His post caught my attention right away. Because of the incredibly beautiful flowers and the great design.

I definitely had to find out if I could do that too!

In one of my last posts: Das Herz der Melancholie after trying here and there ⏳😓😁 I accomplished it myself. In fact with square images.

Today I inaugurate you in the little „secret“ behind and show you how it’s done.

Sure, you could turn on Steemviz and got the source code in no time, but the actual secret is the resolution of the images.

Take this code and adapt it accourding to your poem or your text:

If you did properly (Remember to use the appropiate image size!) it should look like this:

The preview will fool you into thinking, that the lower left image is smaller than the other images. Don’t believe a thing it says!

But what if you have more text? 🤔

The specified image size fits the text length of 11 lines.

But it is possible to increase the number of lines. More than 11 lines will make the text appear hanging a bit loosely though.

If this is the case, you may, as @nissla did, increase the height of the images of 20 pixel per line.

I suggest you write the poem or text first and than start calculating the size of the images.
