April was one of the most productive months for Steemhunt and the HUNT platform as a whole. From selling out 13 million HUNT tokens to launching pre-signup for our next big platform Reviewhunt in a month, HUNT platform proved to be the next big project on the blockchain.

So, here is a list of the events and accomplishments the HUNT platform achieved in April:

1. HUNT IEO on DAYBIT

After two successful IEOs—IDCM Korea and Probit Exchange—HUNT 3rd IEO was carried on Daybit exchange on April 1st, 2019.

The 3rd IEO had initially two separate batch run; 1st batch with HUNT paired with DAY token only from April 1st-5th, and the 2nd batch with HUNT/STEEM, HUNT/BTC, HUNT/ETH and HUNT/EOS pairs for trading from April 8th-12th. However, with the successful sold out of the 1st batch within its first 20 secs run, thinking of the more demand for the HUNT tokens, the intermediate batch run was announced with HUNT/DAY pair for trading from April 3rd-5th.

As expected, the intermediate batch was also sold out. In fact, it sold out within the first 12 secs of its run, making it the 2nd fastest selling batch of all time of HUNT IEO.

And finally, the last round of HUNT IEO was sold out within 14 mins of its run.

A total of 13 million HUNT tokens (worth USD 260K at the time of IEO) was sold in this HUNT-Daybit IEO event; 1st batch with 4 million HUNTs, intermediate batch with 2 million HUNTs, and the last batch with 7 million HUNTs.

2. Passing the STEEM Torch

Given by @coingecko, Steemhunt was honored with the STEEM Torch and which was then passed, with 408.5 Steem, to the next trustworthy bearer; @Partiko.

3. Introduction of Market-Price-Pegged HUNT Bounty Program

Discontinuing the preset amount of HUNT bounties, a new market-price-pegged HUNT Bounty Program was announced on April 4th and then initiated on April 8th.

This newly updated bounty program was designed to reward:

• 20% yearly interest (mixed with STEEM/SBD and HUNT tokens) to delegators
• 30% worth of HUNT tokens paybacks for STU contributions to voters
• Hunts boosted with “Boost HUNT” to be rewarded as per HUNT token market price.
• Rewards for Social Shares, Shuffle Button Lottery, Chrome Extension, and Contribution to distributed proportionally to the market price.

4. HUNT Token Listing on Daybit

The HUNT token listing on Daybit was announced on 12th of April and then listed on April 15th at 12:50 pm (KST).

On this occasion, a 1 million HUNT airdrop event for top 30 traders in two rounds was run, 500,000 HUNT for each round. The airdrop was scheduled for 1st of May, 2019.

Also, an additional trading competition with trading pairs HUNT/BTC and DAY/BTC and a total prize worth $4,850 was organized.

5. HUNT Token listed on Coingecko

Coingecko has been a fantastic partner of HUNT platform, and HUNT token was listed on @coingecko on April 16th, 2019.

6. HUNT token 24h Vol Surpasses $2M

Though the HUNT token has been struggling to keep up with set IEO price, on April 23rd, HUNT token 24h Volume reached $2.177M which was two times the STEEM’s $1.5M 24h Vol at the time.

7. Introduction of Reviewhunt

Reviewhunt, powered by HUNT token economy, is a platform to connect the makers and the hunters. The companies can utilize the power of the 20,000+ registered hunters and influencers to promote and create hype for their products across the famous SNS like Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, and blogs.

And a pre-signup was launched for Reviewhunt on 29th May 2019 at review.hunt.town. The final version of the platform is scheduled to launch in July 2019.

8. New Moderator & Hitting 2,000+ Subscribers on SH subreddit

As our early adopter and talented moderator @geekgirl resigned from the moderator position, our one of the top hunters; @aamirijaz, filled up the position.

Also, as Steemhunt has been gradually growing on Reddit, and it hit 2,000+ subscribers in April.
