[Steemhunt Rewind] Steemhunt January 2019 Roundup

Just over a month ago, I, @MTimeTraveller, joined the SteemHunt as a Social Media Manager, and since then we have come over a long way and achieved quite a lot given our impressions and reach in the social-media world.
So, here I have decided to do a monthly Steemhunt rewind, rounding up all the significant achievements and changes in that corresponding month!
With that said, without further ado, let’s get to the list of the achievements and changes that we had on Jan!

1. Featured on DappOnline

Steemhunt commenced the new year stupendously as it became the first Steem Dapp to be listed and featured on DappOnline.


Currently, DappOnline has 42 Steem Dapps listed and Steemhunt seats on #10 position among Steem Dapps!

2. CES2019 Special on Steemhunt

CES is the world’s largest consumer electronics show where more than 108K attendees and 4500 exhibitors participated this 2019.
Steemhunt ran a “CES2019 Special Week” from Jan 8-11 with a tiny shiny CES logo right by the CES-special hunt, and we saw 13.3% increase in DAU (daily active user) and a 33.7% increase in impressions on our Twitter account. A total of 202 CES-special products were hunted generating $582 in SBD.

3. HUNT Token Price Survey

Steemhunt organized a survey in the second week of the month to discuss what should be the price for the HUNT token.
A total of 314 Steemians participated in our survey, and it was brought to attention that 78% are interested in buying HUNT tokens in our sales event, stating 7.2% would have their budget over $1,000. Also, we have $0.0489 as the average desired price to purchase against BTC, ETH, USDT, and EOS in order.

4. Twitter Bounty Campaign

Steemhunt started a Twitter Bounty Campaign to reward the hunters for following SH on Twitter and retweeting the tweets. The campaign is still going, and the rewards are one-time 100 HUNT for following SH and 10 HUNT per day for retweeting at least one tweet per day.

5. Featured on BetaList

BetaList is a similar, an alternative platform to Producthunt and Steemhunt. BetaList features the latest promising startups, and we were successful not just to get featured and shared to their 60K followers on Twitter, we managed to rank #1 in their “Trending Startups” section for a week!

6. Reviewhunt and Ideahunt Sneak Peek

Since the launch of the Reviewhunt is almost here, the HUNT token website was updated with the revision of the design mockup of Reviewhunt and Ideahunt, HUNT token use cases, and the roadmap schedule.

7. Steemhunt Revamped

Just this week, Steemhunt homepage got a face-lift. The information like a total of 44,303 unique products hunted with $247.13 being the highest reward for a single hunt and $3.48 as an average reward for a hunt, how to dig and earn more, and the currencies of SH are now just accessible as soon as the visitors land on the platform.

8. Announcement of Gradual Decreases in HUNT Token Bounties

Steemhunt will reduce the usual bounty amount by 30% every week for each category we’re rewarding until the $STU per HUNT reaches the token listing price. Moreover, since the Jan 29th, the reduction of bounty amount for voting contribution has already started, followed by the reduction process of bounty amount for sponsors from 4th of Feb. However, the bounties for other categories will be reduced as per the movement of $STU.

9. SH Celebrates 1000+ Followers on Twitter

Moreover, last but not least, on Jan 28th, SH witnessed a successful milestone on social media presence —Steemhunt has now 1000+ followers on Twitter.

Since the start of 2019, and in these 28 days, we have grown off-the-chart on Twitter. We have attracted 118K+ impressions with 216% increment, 2207 profile visits with an increase of 144%.

Thanks to all the hunters who are regularly supporting and sharing the SH tweets across the twitter and helping us reach more hundreds of thousands to product-geeks.
We are all set to hit 2000 on Twitter by the end of Feb, let’s keep supporting Steemhunt. Also, we will be starting to expand our social media presence to Reddit, and Facebook soon. So, do follow us there too.
