August 2024 Solar Stats 🌦️🌧️☔
Today is the first day of spring here🌻💐🌸🪻 in New Zealand and i am hoping we have turned the corner towards some Sunny days coming our way.
The month of August was not quite as good as August 2023 were we managed to be 41 self powered, for the month just gone we were 37% self powered.
For the last few months (3) we have been at 35% self powered,
For August 2023 we were 41% self powered and August 2024 we managed 37%.
To be fair August has been a crappy month here weather wise and we are only heading towards better weather on the upcoming month.

Our house used 920 kWh in July 2024 and with this month being a bit colder we used 994 kWh in August 2024, need to stay warm somehow.

We only generated 347 kWh for July 2024 and in Aaugust we did slightly better at 402 kWh, this number wills start going up as we get rid of Winter & head towards Summer - YAY!

This shows what the Powerwall did in August , with the majority of our power coming via the Grid the powerwall had a quiet month.
The house pulled 632 kWh from the grid with the rest coming from the Solar & Powerwall.

So August was pretty much as expected with our Solar production, now that Winter is officially past us we can look forward to some sunshine!

August was a bit better than July for you!
It started with rain over here..., but it later turns out to be the best so far for now.
Thankfully Winter is now done and we should get some sunshine and better solar production.
