My Steem solar/electricals diary-Day 6 [25 th May, 2024]: Shelves day

The first time I heard those words above was when I was doing my final year project in the department of electrical/electronics engineering.

My mom told me those words because I was almost giving up due to the challanges I faced in terms of cancelation from my supervisor.

My project was canceled up to 10 times despite the much effort I put..., but at the end of it, I got an "A" in my project.

---

This is not what I want to talk about this moment but the progress of the Steem solar & electricals business.

So far, there has been a lot of good progress in setting up the business.

• The shelves has been fixed

• The shelves has been painted with white colour, while the edges is decorated with black colour.

The paint I used here was an oil paint used mainly for car painting.

Since this was the first time of painting this woods, we painted it more than 3 times so that it can coat well.

Altogether, I used 8 tins of that paint.

Unfortunately, the woods were absorbing the paints...and as such, each coating looks like nothing was done at all.

The finishing would have given me 100% of what I wanted if I was to use a spraying machine. This would mean - renting it.

But the cost of renting that machine and paying the sprayer would be thriple the amount I bought the paints and the services of hand painting.

As a business man, I considered spending less, hence I can still achieve my goals. So, I paid for hand painting and the work was done.

• We also did a little clean up

The final cleaning would be done by next week. The floor would be properly mopped.

After everything, I decided to put on the sign post, I still don't want to remove the nylon I covered with it. I want to do this on the launching day.

However, I believe you can see a glimpse of it....😀

This is the night view, but trust me, it's much beautiful when the nylon is remove...

The stocking of goods has already started yesterday and would take like 3 days to finish up. This is because, all items needs to place at appropriate location.

Next task in the shop for this coming week

• All goods would be fully stocked

• I would add more lighting points to illuminate the shop.

• I would install a 1KVA solar inverter... ofcourse, as a solar shop, such needs to be used. This would be a good way to advertise my products.

• Steem solar & electricals would be launched by next week!

Launching date would be announced later today or tomorrow with further updates. This would allow you to plan your schedule so as to attain the opening ceremony. Stay tune.
