The downloaded Apps will work on Android TV and Android Phones and Tablets
Installation instructions
Its easy to download and install the the Apps.
(You don't need a rooted device or a side loader, and the Apps do not require any permissions.)
The only thing that may be needed is to enable in the Android settings menu "Developer mode" and / or Installation of Apps from "Unknown Sources" in their Security Settings. After the installation of the Apps you can turn it off again.
(This is only needed if your device did not present this setting to you automatically during installation)
This is needed because the SteemPort Apps are not available in the Google Play Store.
Installing on Android TV
Download the App (APK) files with a PC, Put them on a USB stick, Put the USB stick in the Android TV device and it should pop up a file explorer. Install the App. (Or use ES File Explorer to install the APK files from your USB stick.)
Done, the App is added to your Android TV home screen and is ready to use.
Installation on a Android Phone and Tablet
Scan the above QR code with your phone or press the download link, and Install the downloaded file.
Done, the App is added to your phone / tablet, App drawer menu and is ready to use.
Please note:
- The ported "Steem Supply App" can have some issues.
An Android (TV) App made by the creators of that Steemit App will most likely work much better when compared to the ported Steemit Apps made with SteemPort (SteemPort has limitation). When the creators of the Steemit apps release their Apps for Android (TV), please download them instead. Don't forget to give them support for the apps that you like and use!

When will the apps be available at Google Play ?
I'll advice against enabling "Developer mode" or Installation of Apps from "Unknown Sources".
Its bad practice from security standpoint.
Don't use the provided links / QR codes.
Get the apps from GitHub and compile them on your own.
Thanks again, I'll clone the repo and try them out.
UPDATE: I don't see the source code, only the apks in the repo, I guess I'll wait for you to put the source on GitHub or at least be approved by Google.

Thanks for you intrest in the apps and for letting me know your concerns
The SteemPort Apps are not available in the Play Store because it wil take extra time and the need of setting up a Google account etc . (if more people would download the apps i would consider adding them to the store.)
Developer mode / unknown sources is always needed to be able to install Apps that are not (yet) available in the Google Play Store.
The Apps don't require any special permissions, the apps Don't have acces to your camera, memory, or phonebook etc. which lower the security risks.
The QR codes are Static codes and will always lead you to the SteemPort Github downloads. (Scanning or pressing the download button will always leads to the same file. People can verify this by checking the github URL when scanning the QR code.)
The Apps dont ask you to login (which lowers security risks)
The Apps would pass the Android Store checks
At this moment i am not sharing the project files, If you have doubt you could scan the apks with a (online) scanner. i just scanned SteemitPond.APK and
"No Malicious activity detected".
