And what if you are hated?

Matthew 5:10"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

To accept Jesus as the Lord and of your life is to be on His side in the great controversy between good and evil,between God and the devil,between light and darkness ,between life and death.

This choice has its consequences,one of which is that the world will hate you and you will not be the first or the last to be so hated of course to be the target of hatred will not be a pleasure,but will be your test of loyalty,a test which will warrant you to lean on the Lord in order to succeed. After all you have chosen to be his follower ,and you will use His strength.

Having Jesus Christ to look up to is the best guide since you have chosen to pass or overcome the wiles of the enemy. He was hated for his righteousness by which he came, not to destroy the love of God but to fulfil and magnify (Matthew 5:17, Isaiah 42:21) if the world system of evil under the control of the devil hates the saviour of the world why would it love to you who, being saved,have defected from their camp and taken up arms of (faith ,salvation,prayer,..)against it (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Be prepared! For the battle is severe and you cannot afford to be careless about it."But and Ye suffer for righteousness sake happy are Ye :and be not afraid of their terror neither be troubled"good words of encouragement from 1 Peter 3:14
