THE MARRIAGE BOOSTER YOU NEED (PART 2)

Greetings brothers and sisters of steem, peace be unto you all. Previously I wrote about some marriage boosters you need to make your marriage a very happy and successful one. On this post am adding on those points I have earlier wrote on.

THE FAMILY PRAYER ALTER
The old adage that says the family that prays together is as relevant now as shell ever be. When you allow God in your home, His grace abides with you and keeps you in unity. Maintaining a family prayer alter is a strong weapon in the hand of any couple that wants to stay together forever. Without doubt, there will be many issues that requires prayer to resolve. In other cases, so many dangers, evils and calamities can be averted at the place of prayer. Beloved couples, let us all obey the injunction of Apostle Paul that says:

Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

RIGHT ATTITUDE TOWARDS MONEY
A good understanding in how to handle and manage money is a booster to any family, anytime and any day. Lack of knowledge however can become the root of a kinds of evils in the family. As a couple, see money for what it is- a means of exchange, a servant, an instrument to carry out the plan and purpose of God for your life etc.

Don't allow money to control you. Don't pursue it at the expense of your marriage and family. There is no doubt that we all need money but we must not allow the love for it in our hearts. Remember the warning in the scriptures:

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10.

Couples should trust the Lord to bless them. Be hardworking. Pray for financial favour. Avoid wastages. Avoid covetousness. Live within your means. Don't go out of your way to incure debts because of unnecessary expenditures. Keep away from people that will encourage you to be extravagant.

GOOD SEXUAL LIFE
Good sexual life is an undeniable and a necessary booster to any marriage. As a couple, don't deny yourself of conjugal relationship. Be faithful to one another. Don't allow the devil to tempt you into having any extra marital affairs because of poor sexual life with your spouse. Always remember what God said in the book of 1 Corinthians 7:3-5,

Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife into the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud not one another, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourself to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Beloved couples, if you are having any form of challenges in this area, sit down , talk about it. Where necessary, seek professional counsel from marriage counsellors, medical personnel and more importantly your spiritual leaders.
