As Steemians, we all want to see the blockchain and its applications get popular. For most of us, users that are here for long enough, all this crazyness is somehow easy to understand - handling wallets, learning new applications, hardforks, trading and all the different front-ends.
Have you tried to bring a friend in? Or an outside content creator?
It's not easy! And the awareness for that is what @promo-mentors is trying to arise with the sponsorship of @fundition.
The Promo-Mentors online community provides a platform where knowledgeable individuals can share their expertise and be rewarded for it. To pay the rewards we use the Steem blockchain. The Steem Challenge
The main idea is to get Steem to the masses by spreading out videos about Steem on social media. They want to spread awareness to people all around the world, about what people can do with the 5 steem in each country. By doing that we can show people that it is possible to earn cryptocurrency (Steem) and actually use it on our daily life. How many times we hear from friends that we've been playing with Monopoly money, right? Let's show them it's real!
My Video Summary
My approach to this challenge was a little different than my fellow Steemians. I could've bought something for myself, or a gift for someone else. Although the options were many, the only one pulsating on my head was the idea of helping someone in need, to show how much impact 5 Steem can cause in the life of a simple person.
If you look around I'm sure you'll see someone who doesn't have access to fiat (Dollar, Real, Euro, etc), let alone Steem! Whenever you complain that the prices are low or that your payout is not high enough, try to expand your vision to see how that low payout could mean a fortune to someone else.
On the video I explain the challenge and its creators, I show how much 5 Steem is worth on Brazil's currency and I go on my mission to buy as much food as possible to donate. The video ended up quite big, but hopefully my message will be delivered and you'll be encouraged to participate too.

So, the sound I record externally using a lapel microphone plugged into my Android phone, then I merge it on the edition.
I'll do a video explaining the whole process so everyone can benefit.
the sound is nice, and the go pro is ok. just shows that you don't need the newest equipment to make something. many people don't know how much good audio does for your videos. people will watch low res video with good audio, but less people will watch good video with really bad audio.
I have the same feeling torwards audio as you, imagine a bike video with that annoying wind sound, it's unbearable.
That's what I try to show on the vlogs, that everyone can vlog with the tools they have, even a gopro one with a scratch on the lenses like mine haha

I could've bought even more, because it's fixed price with 1 meat piece. Next time I should get a homeless person to the restaurant and tell them that they can eat as much as they can. The sad thing is that the restaurant owner will possibly not allow a homeless in there, afffffff
