Steem Basic Income
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.
Still Going Strong
We are up to seven pools, so your upvotes could come from @steembasicincome, @sbi2, @sbi3, @sbi4, @sbi5, @sbi6, or @sbi7. We currently have over 2500 members that have posted within the last 28 days, and many more members that have not. Unfortunately the members that are not posting are not receiving upvotes. There are currently 22653 'shares' in the program, and it grows every day.
Delegation Bonus Shares
Existing members can receive bonus shares from delegation. For every 20 SP delegated to @steembasicincome, members will receive 1 bonus share. These bonus shares will be removed if the delegation is withdrawn. Currently the average weekly voting value per share is 0.0211 (UI value). Of course, that is subject to variations in the price of STEEM.
@sbi2, @sbi3, @sbi4, @sbi5, @sbi6 and @sbi7 are managed to target multiples (e.g. 200 shares ~ 400 SP, 500 shares ~1000 SP, etc.) For this reason we ask that members that are delegating for bonus shares always delegate to pool 1 and we will manage the SP flow into the lower pools appropriately. If you want to fill SP orders through minnowbooster's market, you are of course welcome to fill the orders going to lower pools.
Please do not combine filling orders for pool 1 (@steembasicincome) with delegating for bonus shares.

Any Steemian that is already enrolled in @steembasicincome can delegate as much as they would like, to receive bonus shares. If you are not already a member but would like to delegate, please send an enrollment transaction to @steembasicincome and we will add your bonus shares at the time we process your enrollment.

Enrollment
If you want to get involved, or to increase the share of basic income that you receive, enrollment is pretty straightforward:
Just send 1 STEEM to @steembasicincome. Include the name of a Steemian to sponsor in the transaction memo (preceded by @). You and the person you sponsor will each receive 1 share in the program. You can sponsor any active Steemian, it does not have to be a current member.

Thanks for your support. We recommend that members reach 500 SP before they do much in the way of delegation, so they can have the slider on Steemit.
(You can get a slider earlier if you use busy.org instead - I believe that it's in Settings)
You can get a slider using eSteem Surfer.
That's also helpful for people to know.
How i can join you to take share.
Sent 1 steem to @steembasicincome with a name of the person you want to sponsor. Both you and that person will recieve 1 share.
You can have up to 100 shares per pool (currently 7 pools), then you can recieve bonus shares by upvoting @steembasicincome on a daily basis. This will give you up to 100% bonus.

Hi, i sponsored someone two days ago (2 shares) as at yesterday, she hadn't seen the effect on her posts, and I didn't get any acknowledgement or anything. How do i know when it has been effected? Thanks
There is currently up to a 4 day delay with enrolments. As long as you can see the transaction in you wallet then it will go through.
If it is your sponsies first time on sbi they will get a confirmation transaction. You can check out the data sheet using this link.

Thanks for the update SBI, 2500 plus daily posters is fabulous. Congratulations 👏
That's active weekly, actually. Not everyone posts every day. One of the reasons that we calculate value on a weekly basis (instead of daily) is so that people can post only a few times a week instead of being compelled to post every day.
My bad, I don't know what I was thinking. Maybe wishful thinking. 😂

Its taking up to 4 days. You dont seem to be on the list yet so I would say its still in waiting
