As you know I try and increse my shares daily and I also exceed that on some occations. I work with rogz06 to build up our shares but I want to help out some of the community a bit more than I have.
I was thinking that any shares I purchase over 1 per day, if I put contest in the memo box could you assign this to a contest you like. Even if it doesnt go to the winner of the contest but maybe someone you feel has been trying but hasnt been successful yet?
Not sure if you would have the time for this but even if you use only one contest and they tell you who was close but not quite there.
This is a good idea (and I actually sponsor some contests myself), but I don't keep track of who is entering and what their win rates are (except I do notice if certain names get a string of sponsorship from a bunch of different people that do contests). However, I would be happy to put you in touch with members that could use a little more sponsorship for their contests. Or if you're interested, I can coordinate with you and some of the Language Mods in our new discord to put together contests that grow their communites (#ph, #vn, etc.)

I dont have time to put together a contest and maintain it. With 3 kids a wife and a buisness to run things get busy quickly. However I like the idea of steem being a massive change to someones financial future.
Being able to feed a family from sbi is a worthwhile thing to do.
I mainly want to give those that cant afford to just buy shares so they try in these contests but maybe dont get to the top.
We all love an underdog.

Count me in for 4 shares. It says that this will run to the 2nd. Is that correct. How long after it closes do you make the results known?

The contest ends at 11:59pm on Saturday. The winner post is 12:01am on Wednesday.
Week 10 will start at 12:01am on Tuesday. Idea is 5 days for the contest, 2 days for the judges to see any entries they have missed and get me their winners. Then I write the winner post Tuesday night.
We had been running the contest for 7 straight days with no downtime and any last minute entries weren't getting any views. Plus we never had time to let our voting power restore.
